Ever notice that when talking to 'pioneeers' that the first and most important topic is; "How are you doing with your time?" When I was an elder and we would meet with the pioneers once a year, it was mostly about how we could help the pioneers to "Get there time in".

I was also a conscience objector during Viet Nam. I got hold of a lawyer named JB Tietz, he worked with Covington during WWII.
I received a 2 year hospital 'sentence' and 3 additional years of probation.
Anyway, commenting on your blog of False Premise, didn't you know that the earth was relatively flat prior to the Flood? For proof,
just write to the WTBTS and they will 'convince you'! I'll read your book too.

Jah and the GB only love the English speaking brothers, so it seems. Since JW's are an American religion, I guess it makes sense to have a bunch of hoopla about a "SPECIAL" meeting and only the English speaking brothers get a "new" bible.

As I have subtly pointed out to my wife and family, Jah and the GB must love the English speaking brothers more that all else since the Sliver Sord is only available in English. They made such a big deal out of the AGM but only the English speakers benefitted! LOL

when i was a kiddo growing up, i wasn't one of those that we all heard at assemblies giving their experiences... "here, let me show you the answer from the bible..." <reaching into their a** bringing out a bible>.
no, i would sit there in the audience, and think... that person has balls to do that.. when i went to grade school, i tried to keep as low of a profile as possible.
it was bad enough that i had to start the day by not saying the pledge of allegience like all the other school kids.

I agree that you have acurately described many of us here on this forum. Growing up in the JW cult wasn't all bad but it did stunt our emotional growth and limit our view of the real world. As I look back now, I see that Rutherford and Freddy did everything they could to make JW's different. All the crazy stuff that they came up with was the opposite of 'normal' behavior. Anything that Christian religions practiced, Rutherford found a way to do or teach the opposite. Even the non Christian name 'Jehovah's Witnesses'. Rutherford chose a weird name that had to be so different so he could put his 'brand' on the religion. JW's are good people for the most part. Too bad we were raised in a cult.

it was a perfect spring day, and a jazz band were playing in the mall near my work.
in front of the band, two watchtower literature carts stood in solidarity.
i could not work out who were the jws attending them.
There is no Biblical preaching any more. It's all about getting in HOURS. Cruising around to do a few rv's and getting coffee. As our recent CO said, 'It's about being with the brothers and sisters". He mentioned in his service talk Tuesday that he and his wife were certainly not opposed to the 'occasional' coffee break.

he and his wife took all the hundreds of books, including bound volumes from the 1800s and are now using them for research and proof of watchtower lies.. what did you do with your books?.
They are collectors item. Sell them on ebay or Craigslist!
