yes thats my situation.
some where along the path of life the wt guilt trip was dumped on our marriage and we havent had sex for years.. anyone else?
the hearts and flowers and gifts and doing the cleaning, the house work and paying the daily accounts never being drunk on drugs playing the horses or screwing others yep its all there but nothing coming back due to the wt guilt trip.. they made so much of 'oral sex' and 'pornea' incorrectly quoted at that and ventured thereby into areas they were patently very ill equipped to comment on.
TRUE STORY!------I got DF'ed because I admitted that I had oral sex with my wife. Although we both enjoyed oral sex, it "violated" God's laws, don't ya know. That was in November of 1977. In the December 1977 WT, question from readers section, "nu-lite" revealed that oral sex with your spouse was now a matter of conscience. I was reinstated in February 1978. Yes Jehovah does provide "food at the proper time" thru the "spirit directed" 'faithful slave' don't ya know! I was DF'ed for 3 months for something that the "spirit directed faithful slave" got WRONG. Sad that thousands have died because the "spirit directed faithful slave" got the blood thing WRONG!

The fundament error in the reasoning is that blood is too sacred to be put to any use other than on the sacrificial altar. Island man
I too have long reasoned and even argued that if "blood is too sacred to be be put to any other use than on the sacrificial alter", then why do JW's gladly (and reasonably) 'donate blood' in order to have their blood tested in order to detect diseases or test the level of certain medications in their system. Of course the obvious reason is because JW's want to know their health condition in order to live longer and better. Is the blood that a JW 'donates' for a blood test used on the 'sacrificial alter'? But by 'donating blood' for a simple blood test, does that violate the JW blood doctrine? What happens to the blood that a JW 'donates' when it goes off to a labratory for testing?

has anyone read this?
i am going from memory because i don't have the rnwt with me.
if someone wants to post it, great.
Thank God for the Catholic Church or we wouldn't have the modern Bible! And thank God for the Catholic monk or we would not have the modern name of God. Just wondering why God would so jealously and accurately preserve his WORD and not have HIS name so jealously and accurately preserved? JW's should love dem Catholics.

...at least that's what the sunday study said:.
"at the same time, we need to understand that our salvation is not jesus' primary concern.
his main purpose from the beginning to the end of his earthly ministry was to work for the sanctification and glory of his father's name".
Why didn't Jesus say the name Jehovah in the model prayer? "Let your name, JEHOVAH, be santified......"?

todays' wt had this sentence in one of the paragraphs....we know this because each of their individual names are indelibly written upon the 12 foundation stones of the heavenly new jerusalem.rev.
21:14.. the cross reference lists judas iscariot as one of the twelve.
so with one breath they have said judas was cursed as jesus betrayer, and yet in their rnwt they still cross reference him in the list of the twelve named foundation stones of nj.
Why not include Judas Iscariot as one of the 12 foundations stones? He was faithful for a while wasn't he? So the word "faithful", like so many other WTBTS words, can have have whatever meaning the WTBTS says it should have! Same with some of the Bible books. King Solomon proved to be an "apostate" of gigantic proportions, yet the Bible books that HE wrote (under inspiration?) are part of; "all scripture....inspired of God and beneficial". WTBTS explaination is that Solomon wrote HIS books while he was still 'faithful'. (banging 700 concubines and hundreds of wives...'faithful' to what?) So using that line of reasoning, maybe Judas Iscariot's name was engraved on the stone while he was still 'faithful'. Just saying!

well, almost.
i just watched the documentary "dirty wars" on netflix and it left me so emotionally overwhelmed that i watched it a second time back-to-back.
it's unreal how cynical this left me feeling about obama and the us government's global war on terror, it's so bleak that i almost wished for the simple life of being a jw with the naive promise of big daddy jehovah coming to sweep away all the wickedness at armageddon.. watch this movie!.
We all want life, liberty, freedom and happiness. And there are about 35,000 (man made) religions out there that have the "Way" to all the things we all want. Just pick one that make you feel good and go for it! Or better yet let your parents pick it for you and devote your entire youth to it. You will feel better in the end right? Just saying!

i apologize if i am double posting about this..
Absolutely inspiring to think that our brothers are so dedicated to the WTBTS! It is so moving that I wept bitterly as did Peter when he betrayed Jesus. Thsi satire is not that far removed from fact. I was part of a JC in which a married sister committed adultery. One of the elders asked her if she "enjoyed" the sexual intercourse or did she reach a climax? Wow! That was the 'climax' of my JC experiences. Just saying!

watchtower states: "moderation in all things is a bible principle".
why not use the same advice for the use of medicinal marijuana?
drugs- http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1101989223.
Da org only uses the negative info so as to support it's "doctrinal" dogma, which we all know. So in the case of medical marijuana, the "nu-lite" is that if one uses only 'fractions' of the plant, it's ok. But it's a df'ing matter if you accept 'whole' marijuana. Also, while one can accept 'fractions' of the marijuana plant to improve one's life, it is a df'ing matter if one donates 'whole' marijuana to another suffering person! Just saying.....
