  Not that i mind the use of music and videos to spread the word, it's just the absolute hypocritical way that the organization "flip flopped" from criticizing Christendom for using music and videos to now copying Christendom.

  The only difference is that jehober is obviously blessing the organization's use of modern media---right?

  johnny the bethelite on this program talks about the older bethelites being targeted by watchtower.they are getting rid of those at bethel who are 65-87 years old, some being anointed even the widows of former governing body members who gave decades of loyal service time to the watchtower organization.. the reasons the very elderly are being expelled are money in that for their age range they cost so much to cloth, fed, and medicate, having problems from high blood pressure to dementia.

  I doubt that they would send the oldest ones packing. Too much "bad press" would result if it were true. They know that they oldest ones will only "be on the books" for a few more years and, once gone to their heavenly reward, then they can then boast about how wonderfully those older ones were cared for in their waning years.

  In the future I believe they will not keep anyone beyond a certain age (50?) because they know that the 'big A' is not coming to bail them out of the financial burden of caring for older people. After all, the big 'A' has already been delayed for "generations" so to speak. lol

  i am ok to not have free will if it means i will live forever in perfect paradisiac conditions.it has been explained that free will is a gift from god.

  "Free will" is the term used to explain that they just don't know why shit happens.

  "Wait on jehober" is the term they use to explain why shit keeps on happening.

  "Overlapping generations" is the term they use to explain that ship will continue to happen as long as people exist.

  Of course there is 'in fighting' on the gb. After all they are 7 different guys trying to run a business organization without any business training. They are 7 men trying to assert their own opinions/ideas as "troof". These guys are speaking out of their a** where their head seems to be most of the time. Did you ever wonder how jehobers holy spirit could be guiding them if they didn't agree 100% of the time on 100% of the issues. lol

  "A house divided cannot stand" lets hope that at least that little morsel in the bible is true.

  How far will they go?

  i've been drawing back lately and looking at the big picture going on in the org, somewhat like slimboyfat has also been doing, but i am wondering about different possibilities.

  so the current gb has modernized recently in various ways.

  they have done a strong and sudden about-face regarding the electronic world, from viewing the whole thing suspiciously and condemning bros. use tablets from the platform to suddenly embracing them and causing the r&f to do so to such a degree that old ones are spending hundreds of dollars to buy devices that they have no clue how to use; they have heavily embraced this media for their message, very much like the churches have been doing for years, especially with their jw broadcasting and their caleb and sophia animations.

  I honestly believe that all the radical changes in recent years have actually f**ked the borg in the long run. 'Oldsters' like me do not even recognize this religion anymore as the one they grew up in. To me, all the changes are a sure sign of instability and lack of real leadership. The stupid changes pushed me to take a look at the past which led me to ttatt which led me to freedom. My 'born in' kids see my attitude change and my disregard for the wtbts and it has had a very desirable result on their lives.

  Hopefully it will have the same affect on others which it seems to be doing!
