i wanted to get people's opinion on something.
how do you feel when people use illegal means while performing their activism to shed light on the watchtower.
there have been people who have illegally recorded conversations with elders and with branch offices or at meetings.
All is fair in love and war and it's "spiritual warfare"--right?

A follow up for next year's RC.
"Remember the LIFE of Lot"
What a rotten, incestuous bastard he was. How he offered his 2 daughters to be mauled by a sex depraved crowd how he banged his 2 daughters.
Yes you christian fathers, "Remember the LIFE of Lot!"

what are your convictions now that you are no longer one of jehovah's witnesses?

have you joined another denomination of christianity?
I no longer believe in the bible as inspired of god for sure. I no longer believe in religion for sure. I sorta , kinda, maybe believe in a god that may have started the ball rolling but who lost interest in how humans eventually turn out.
My life is certainly much more stress free and happy. My new mantra in life is so anti jw: "Life is to be enjoyed, not endured!"

this was brought up in another thread, but i thought it should have its own thread.
feel free to add your own observations and experience.
the jws are so duplicit, and they rename things to somehow justify their own irrationalities.
It's not fu*king lying; it's THEOCRATIC warfare!
It's not a fu*king meaningless ritual: it's a CELEBRATION of the lord's death!
it's not frickin' tithing; it's our pledged contributions!
It's not recruiting; it's preaching! lol

this is a nice article about archaeological finds, what caught my attention is the use of 586 bce as the date for the destruction of jerusalem.. according to biblical descriptions, in 586 bce, the babylonian king nebuchadnezzar vanquished the judaean king zedekiah and razed his capital city, jerusalem.
the babylonian captain of the guard nebuzaradan was dispatched into the city, where, as told in the book of jeremiah, he “burned the house of the lord, and the king’s house; and all the houses of jerusalem, even every great man’s house, burned he with fire.”.

The only thing that is important for jw's to remember is that Armageddon is coming sooooooooon!

any book that claims to be god’s word should have the minimum qualification of clarity.
if any of its verses are open to many interpretations, it cannot be god’s word.
god can easily be crystal clear as traffic police who puts traffic signals (red means stop, green means start …etc.
Last week's bible reading certainly made me think of how modest jehober god is.
Ezekiel 23 verse 20
20 She lusted after them like the concubines of men whose male members are like those of a donkey and whose genitals are like those of a horse.Made me jealous too!just saying!
i have seen a few comments about the nwt being an altered version of the bible and i must admit that when they released the new one it did not sit right with me.. i want to read the bible but not the nwt.
i also do not want to read one that has the thee and thou and ye etc because that will do my head in.. what translations do you recommend?.
There are probably a lot of other jewish fiction books that that would be more interesting to read.

i'm just curious with all the happy clapping that is now going on with the singing at the conventions.
what has been the reaction to it with the r&f.
has anyone ever commented that it reminded them of a pentecostal revival meeting.
It beats the hell out of the 'funeral dirges' that we used to call kingdom melodies!

Of course he does! They're all directed by god. Silly question.
“Isn’t it a remarkable coincidence that almost everyone has the same religion as their parents? And it always just happens to be the right religion.”
