I love driving too as long as it isn't hotter than hell outside.
I'm driving to Vegas for the 4th of July. It is a 3 1/2 hour trip. It will be hot but I decided to take the trip wearing nothing but my unmentionables.
does it happen to you very often to decide to take a little ride in your car, and once your back home, you made 250 miles?
this is not a trip now, just a ride in the car.
i didn't even stop once.. .

have you grown out of certain friendships with people?.
i have a friend i used to do everything with.
we helped each other out with all types of problems.
Termite 35,
Thanks for the response.
I should add some more detail. My friend and I have different morals and goals in life. To tell you the truth If I just met her today I wouldn't pursue her friendship.
I don't want to tell her I do not want to be her friend because I do care about her and want her to do well in life. But I cannot sit back and watch her ruin her life. And that is what I think she is doing. I try to give her advice without being judgemental but sometimes I just keep my mouth shut.

I have a friend I used to do everything with. We were always together. We helped each other out with all types of problems.
Then she moved away (out of state). Just before she moved I started seeing my boyfriend and we started to less of each other. I still made time for her but honestly the majority of my time was spent with my new boyfriend.
Like I said she moved away and we wrote to each other and talked on the phone often.
She moved back here about a year ago, after being gone for 3 years. When she came back I noticed I was so different and found it hard to hold simple conversations with her. I am not sure why because it was easy to talk to her on the phone and through letters.
I still spend the majority of my time with my boyfriend and go out with her along with other friends 1 or 2 times per month, more or less.
I feel guilty for not spending more time with her. But my boyfriend and I are really best friends; we enjoy each other's company. We enjoy being alone and never include our friends except for a few special occasions here and there.
Should I feel guilty? I know some people will never put their friends before their significant other but I do not see it that way. Am I being insensitive?
Her and I have very little in common these days.
She is moving again, out of state, back with her family. I don't know if I should acknowledge the fact that we really didn't spend much time together or just let her go, wish her well and tell her I'll miss her.
in the movie 'my blue heaven' steve martin's charactor claims, "everyone thinks they have a sense of humor, even when they don't!
" do you laugh easily and often?
i am always looking for new material and have about 150 jokes at my disposal.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I laugh all the time. I am very sarcastic and quick witted, though I do not always express it. I have to feel comfortable with you before I reveal my sarcastic humor.
I have a dark sense of humor too.
just read on the news that gregory peck passed away last night.
he was 87. one of my favorites from the great days of movies, handsome and such a great actor.
he was absolutely brilliant in "to kill a mockingbird.
I love old Gregory Peck movies. To Kill A Mockingbird and Roman Holiday are my favorite movies of his.
He was such a Classy Man on screen and off screen as well.
when i got home from work last night my son was there and i was suprise to see him because it was meeting night and everyone else was gone.

" nope well he has been having sex with his girlfriend the baptized pioneer elders daughter yikes my son (not baptized) and her were girlfriend and boyfriend untill her daddy stop them from seeing each other.
I do not agree with teenage sex either but I would have got a kick out of that situation too.

My neice, who just graduated high school last week, will be getting married in November, because she is horny. I know I am young, but I would rather MY child experience a little more of life before she goes and dedicates her LIFE to some guy she is in lust with.
I agree completely!!! I loved my teenage bofriend very much at 17; if I had the gutz to defy the congregation and my family I would have married him. Thank God I couldn't do it!!! I look back on that relationship now and think........That was a really sweet relationship but I do not have any regrets.
I have changed so much since my teenage years. I am so glad I didn't marry young. Even if it didn't end in divorce I know we would have had problems. Problems that you shouldn't have to go through at all, especially at such a young age.
i have the option of saying happy birthday or god bless you or even singing the happy birthday song.
example, my hubby (who was never a jw) is having a birthday today.
now, i have no problem celebrating with him.
I think it is a little weird at first even though you don't see anything wrong with it. I felt a little uncomfortable too at first.
I used to mumble the words at first but it did get easier. Now I am the loudest singer in the group. LOL
It really will get easier.
Sandy

I wonder if they just "cut and paste" this from somewhere?
Yeh, from their ass.
We don't have enough schools here, and then they are mostly Afrikaans!
Really, what is up with that comment?
