Hair? The long and the short of it!

Thanks ladies for all your imput...Hey you whimpy guys, how come so quiet??? Afraid big mama's gonna see you write something they don't like??? And I agree that a man should take care of himself, (and me with a 30'' waist!) I have to admit I dye my hair, I'm almost 50 and it would be all gray. Not ready for that! I look about 30 and I'm not going down without a fight! Some ladies look good with short hair, but most just look 'manly' Maverick

I am well known in my home town and when the Duds see me they know right off I have 'gone bad'! I do keep it clean and use conditioner and styling sprays. I have nicer hair than most women I know, but mostly because I have not bleached and dyed and abused my hair all my life like most women have. Some ladies like my hair, others like me in spite of my hair.( But they ALL like me cause I'm such a great guy!)
My question is, "What's with the ladies cutting their hair short after they get married?" I see these women all the time. They gain eighty or one hundred pounds cut their hair and look like Frier Tuck! Ladies, I don't know any hedro-males that want to have sex with a women that looks like a linebacker for the Packers! Talk about fraud! Are the men just sperm donors? OK guys, what's your take on the short-hair mamas? Maverick

When I was in Art School an instructor mentioned that we would get 'hammered' all the time. She told us to consider two things about the criticism, the source and the motivation. Does this person know what they are talking about? Is the intent to help or hurt?
In management I always used the sandwich method, start out with something positive, slip in the point you wanted the person to work on, and then end on a compliment. This puts off their defenses, lets them hear what you need them to hear and then leaves them feeling good about themselves.

Garybuss, that is one of the clearest and most simply put outlines of the Orginization I have ever read. If you don't mind I would like to print it out and give it to my 'worldly' friends and associates to explain the cult. This site has helped me in my exit from the borg. When I came back from visiting Blackguard in Australia I was hot to fight the Elders in my Hall. The insight y-all gave me enabled me to be more effective in avoiding the mind-control traps they lay out. I still come here even when I am traveling, such as now. Love to see who is ticked off at who. You guys are a riot! Forgot my personal spell checker though so I'll have to keep the words sweet and simple! Maverick
