  i was home the other night, minding my own business, when the phone rang.

  the number was blocked on my caller id, but i answered anyways.

  Should have said yes that you are willing to meet with them. Go when summoned and when they ask if you are repentant ask them if they are repentant?

  Ask if they are sorry for being hypocrite, false witnesses of Jesus and phony clerics?

  Are these worshipers of a book printing company sorry for their part in spreading lies, peddling and promoting God insurance without any real foundation?

  Do they ever regret practicing family, marriage and substance abuse counseling without even the most basic State authorized training?

  Are they even a little remorseful for the pain and suffering their unloving shunning and lack of acurate Bible knowledge has inflicted on otherwise innocent people?

  Remember they have no real training. These window washer/janitors are told by their leaders in Brooklyn how vastly superior they are from the rest of the world. And how did these men in NY come to a position of power? Why they were the best ass kissers and suck ups of an orginization that specializes in teaching its members to be ass kissers and mindless suck ups!

  See them for what they really are, how much consideration would you give an unkept, handyman who just drove up in a broken down truck, wearing worn out clothes telling you that he knows all there is to know about God and you should trust him? But let this man go home. shave, put on his goodwill suit and now you would? Hell you wouldn't even trust him to know how to fix a sprinklerhead let alone your personal life!

  this is only my opinion but what do you think?.

  a few : i believe serve god cos they love him.. some: they want to see someone they love who has died again.

  i've been struggling so much with some old programming that i truly feel is from the witnesses, and my father in particular.

  he always told me men and women couldn't be friends -- unless they were married or related -- because they'd fall in love with each other and leave their mates.

  that's why you could only be friends with your own gender and were never allowed to be alone with someone of the opposite sex, even in a car.

  The insecurity is programmed into nit-Witnesses by the leadership. Remember the governing body are very insecure, petty, small minded men who deep down know what they teach is nonsense! They are terrified people will wake up and smell what they are shoveling. They use the WatchTower and other publications to promote the idea that JW's are inherently weak, little children, dependent on every word they utter. They want the JW's isolated, even from friends and mates, fearful, as are they, that everyone will betray if given the chance.

  Blondie is sooooooooo right, The Elders root around in the name of altruism, wanting in their hearts to save the Witless, going to who they feel are all that ones close friends. Once in the company of these loving friends they get all manner of dirt on the "erring one". Armed with this information they confer amongst themselves. In the meantime the ones they talked to gossip about the Elder asking them about so and so. This gossip goes right to the Elders wives who report in back to their husbands. This only reinforces the validity of the fact finding the Elders did in the first place. And in all of this no one ever talks to the person being talked about. These Elders, major cowards that they are, create exactly what they wanted and nothing will undo the damage to the victim.

  But, in the end, the Elders and friends may have done the victim a favor, once this person sees the "love" they have for him it may help that one get free of the cult. It worked for me.

  people who profess belief in the god of the bible refer to him as the "creator".

  thus, they believe that god is responsible for all forms of life here on the earth and in heaven.

  the thought of even one living thing as being the creation of any person other than god himself would no doubt be a completely foreign thought to the average bible-believer.

  i am a die hard yankee fan, but i was so disappointed at the loss yesterday.

  that was the worst game in post-season yankee history.

  espepcially losing to boston in nyc and at such a bad score.

  Maybe old George should fire the team barber, throw out all the soap and razors, and dump the dress code. The longer the series when on the rattier the BosSox players looked and probably smelled! Hell, even the baseballs tried to get as far away from the Red Sox players every chance they got!

  MY CELIBACY VOW AND OTHER QUESTIONS!

  )o.k so last night i made a vow of celibacy to god.

  an official promise in prayer to not fornicate so that maybe i too can have a special wedding night.

  (my boyfriend was surprisingly supportive) i remember reading a scripture that says a promise made to god should be taken very serious.
