If that is the case, then who will be left to care whether or not Jesus sanctifies his Father's name?

Understand: Our salvation is not Jesus' primary concern
by pixel in...at least that's what the sunday study said:.
"at the same time, we need to understand that our salvation is not jesus' primary concern.
his main purpose from the beginning to the end of his earthly ministry was to work for the sanctification and glory of his father's name".

EndOfMysteries,
Thanks for the info. I have to wonder when does this all end? The generation has gone on for so long now it's not even funny.

Studies in the Scriptures Series III - Thy Kingdom Come

page 228 Deliverance of the Church
"Just how long after 1914 the last living members of the body of Christ will be glorified, we are not directly informed, but it certainly will not be until their work in the flesh is done; nor can we reasonably presume that they will long remain after that work is accomplished."

Fisherman,
Studies in the Scriptures Series III - Thy Kingdom Come
Published 1891
"The Time of the End," Or "Day of his Preparation"
The "Time of the End," a period of one hundred and fifteen (115) years, from A.D. 1799 to A.D. 1914, is particularly marked
in the Scriptures. "The Day of His Preparation" is another name given to the same time period, because in it a general
increase of knowledge, resulting in discoveries, inventions, etc. paves the way to the coming Millenium of favor, making ready
the mechanical devices which will economize labor, and provide the world in general with time and conveniences, which under
Christ's reign of righteousness will be a blessing to all.
The last forty years of the Time of the End is called the "End" or "Harvest" of the Gospel age, as we read, "The Harvest is the END of the age."
Though our information pointing out the date of this period is unfurnished in Daniel's prophecy, we know that he understood nothing at all
concerning it, as he said: "I heard but I understood not." In answer to his anxious inquiries he was told that the words were closed up and
sealed until The Time of the End.
It follows, therefore, that no one could understand the prophecy before 1799; and before leaving the subject we shall show that the prophecy
indicates that it would not begin to be understood before 1829, nor reach a clear unfolding until 1875.

Could the preaching work be "one of the great signs to mislead many, even the elect?"
by truthseeker ini was thinking the other day, could the preaching work be another of the signs jesus mentioned when he said many would come in his name and.
perform many powerful works in his name.. .
23 then if anyone tells you, look, here is the messiah, or there he is, dont believe it.

I was thinking the other day, could the preaching work be another of the signs Jesus mentioned when he said many would come in his name and
perform many powerful works in his name.
23 “Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. 25 See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.
The preaching work IS a powerful work, there is no doubt about that given the enormous number of languages the literature is published in and the billions of hours spent preaching.
The message they preach is not that preached in the 1st century.
Their message is misleading.

Marriage In The New World
by Cold Steel inokay, here's the issue.
some people, even some jws, believe that in the new world they will be reunited with their spouses.
jesus, however, said that in the resurrection there would be no marriage or giving in marriage.

Adam did not get depressed over not having a mate because he had never seen a woman before and had no concept of who is other half might be, if he even had a concept of a female.
It is unnatural to have a two tiered world in the New System, of Armaggedon survivors who can marry and produce offspring and billions of resurrected people who can't.
God said he would satisfy the desire of every person, you cannot do that if you take away something as fundamental as love, marriage and kids.
This in itself raises all kinds of problems, with the potential of discrimination of the basis of who can and can't marry.
