  My First Special Pioneer Assignment

  my first special pioneer assignment.- part 1.. in australia, western civilization is a thin strip of land, that hugs the coast.

  all the major cities are on the coast.

  i grew up on the east coast of australia where the great dividing range, as its called, runs parallel to the coast, and limits the extension of cities like sydney and brisbane.

  Help me Plz (teen issues)

  i have bdd, it isn't just the meetings it's everything.

  i don't want to go but i feel guilty of not going cause he said everyone is wondering where i am, but i dont want anyone to see my face... and tomorrow they said they'll call me to make sure im going but it's so tough.

  also how do i cancel talks thx.. .

  How did your mom feel about you canceling your talk?

  Maybe it would be helpful to focus on your physical health. Tell mom once you get healthy you can concentrate on other matters.

  this is an observation i have made .

  yesterday a group of jw`s entered the street where i live , i`m at the end of a street and they stood around and obviously joked and mucked around for about 10 minutes as a group opposite my house .their were 3 teenage girls ,1 teenage boy , and 3 older men .

  this was about 10:30 am on a saturday.

  Do you really blame them? I remember forcing myself to go out. I would hear at the meetings how important the work was. Then when I would meet for service I would always get in a group that just wanted to go on calls. Since I hadn't been out for awhile I wouldn't have any calls. If I was lucky we might work a block or 2. We always kept not at homes because it gave us something to do the next time. I aways felt guilty counting time because I never felt like I acomplished anything. We were told that the angels were directing the work. Also we were told just going in the ministry was a witness.

  Anglican school phobia

  after a long and frustrating houe search in london we finally found a place that fitted all our requirements and my wife seemed happy with and i was successful in the bidding process and had our offer accepted even though it wasn't the highest beacuse we can exchange contracts quickly and now we have lawyers working on exchanging contracts soon.

  so everything is going swimmingly and then my wife demands that we go and look at a house being offered by the same agent we used to make the offer on the house we are buying.

  i am like wtf, if we ask the agent to see another property they will tell the vendors for the place we are buying and they will revoke acceptance of our offer and we will be back to square one.

  Did you suggest visiting the school?

  Maybe she doesn't think you will take her concerns seriously. Does she think you are being condescending to her?

  It might seem silly to you but when all you have heard all of your life that you must not have anything to do with "false" religions, it would be easy to have a knee jerk reaction about having your children in a nonsecular school.

  I remember when my daughter told me her class was performing for seniors at a church. My first reaction was no...it is in a church...church bad..

  Lighting might strike. She assured me it was in an attached building not actually in the church.

  I let her go but still felt guilty like I was being disloyal. We are always told to stay out of Babylon the Great.

  I think someone must have mentioned a concern about the school. She might not feel comfortable talking about it because it's hard to explain to non JWs.
