Slow motion pioneers
by 1Averagejoe inobserving our local unemployed pioneers and how long they take to get to their first or next call, usually taking the longest route to get to one they know won't be there anyway.
along the way it's gossipy this and that.
pioneers?

Two pioneers are out in service when suddenly one of them lift his foot to put it down full force on a snail. The other pioneer is flabbergasted and asks him why he just did that. The first pioneer responds: "I'm sorry about that, but it was getting in my way for the last hour and a half" (JW joke from my country). -

I had a youth in which I wasn't allowed to do anything. Wordly friends were evil according to my parents and even a lot of jw youths were 'bad association'. So, being the youngest of three and my bro's marrying and moving out when i was 9/10, I remember always feeling lonely. I got dunked at 15 trying to be a good JW, but I got DF'd half a yr later for smoking cigarettes. I got kicked out of the house the same month when my parents caught me kissing a girl... my mother made choose between coming back home or staying with the girl, shouting at the girl she was a whore (omg embarassing). I remember the df session at my parents home... when i was df i just walked outside, tears rolling down my cheeks. Still somehow I felt free.
Being on your own at age 16, losing all friends and chances on university education (which I was allowed to aim for) and family is bit harsh... to cope with it I did get screwed up for like ten years, drinking, drugging etc, just to kill the pain I guess... although it was just for fun sometimes too. But it was me that chose this 'solution', so I have no one to blame for that but myself. I did have problems with trying building up a new life. I used to be ambitionless because whatever I could achieve there was always a voice in my head telling me that it was useless because soon the system would end bla, bla, bla. It really took me a while to get that out of my mind.
I'm not mad, although I used to be, as in the end it turned me into a freethinking, non-judgemental, empathic person with a suitcase full of life experience. But not before I tried being a JW again in my late 20's... being confronted with the dark side of jw's as an adult, their judicial system, conditional love and friendships and ttatt I can finally say I finally moved on... I have goals in life other than turning in hrs of fs or trying to get 'privileges'. I miss my family though, but it's not my choice to not be in touch and I don't have much influence on that. I have a nice girlfriend for some years and she always tells me it's ok that I 'borrow' her family, isn't that sweet?

Galatians 3:10 10 All those who depend on works of law are under a curse, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not remain in all the things written in the scroll of the Law by doing them.”
Galatian 3:24,25 So the Law became our guardian leading to Christ, so that we might be declared righteous through faith. But now that the faith has arrived, we are no longer under a guardian.

Is their a new holocaust in the making ? Are jews being made the scapegoats again ?
by smiddy inmass immigration in the world "seems" to have led to a rise in anti -semitism in the west.
france now has more than six million muslims.. germany now has four million muslims.
the netherlands has almost one million muslims .

My question is : If life is so great in their home countries why are they migrating to countries that they regard as infidels.
I think former Lybian dictator Ghadaffi explained it best when he said: We have 50 million Muslims in Europe. There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe—without swords, without guns, without conquest—will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.
Yes they look down the european western nations they live in and yes they attack synagogues, individual jews in the streets and jewish institutions in general. In France they run around the streets shouting: Nique la France, Allah Akbar (f*#k France, god is great) during ' Free-Palestine Protests '. It's just a matter of time before things get out of hand in Europe as in the countries you mentioned and adding Belgium, Sweden, England, Austria the people are getting fed up with everyday racism/bullying by muslims. See the huge wins of right wing parties like Front National, PVV, FPO and movements like Generation Identitaire.
Here's an interesting historical review of the true (violent) nature of islam. http://youtu.be/t_Qpy0mXg8Y
So to answer your question, yes there's things happening in the streets of Europe that reminds us of the pre WW2 period. No it won't lead to another Holocaust in Europe because, but there's a good chance all of this leads to violence between muslims and the people of Europe.

Looking for BOE letter regarding DF'd at memorial

i came in last minute and ended up sitting at the end of the row.
when the symbols were passed out they skipped me and gave to the person next to me.

I'm sure my parents want to have contact with me. But you know... their conscience. Both my bro's are in too, they shun me, so I think they feel they must shun me too. They didn't when I was attending meetings to get RI. It's very painful to see them suffering from this. Also they know I was treated unfair and without any compassion. They sent a letter to the elders in the cong i was df'd and they got a letter back that was just lies.
I moved away to a different cong far far away so no one holds a grudge against me. When it happened I contacted my bro who is an elder in yet another cong and he confirmed the end of isle policy. It's a rule, I'm sure.

Thanks for looking WF. Kate, I'm not sure yet... I'd only go for my parents sake, they find it difficult to keep in touch now that I'm not attending anymore.

Yeah I know Kate, I gave up on RI process over half a yr ago. After all the lies I've been told and the 'love' I experienced I just couldn't stomach it anymore. I needed to get my life back on track the RI procedure was sucking away all my energy.

That's my point too Searcher. If you sit in the middle it's no problem to pass the symbols, otherwise it is...it's just ehm weird.
After the memorial I asked an elder why that happened. He said he should've told me about this before and that they tried to put me in the middle of the row to avoid this situation, but I came in seconds before the start and as did others. I was trying to be polite and let the others take seats before me.
