likely, it is not the most riveting video, but im hoping it can empower those interested in starting research into astronomical diaries like vat 4956. some might think its too complicated, but i believe such research is within everyones reach.

I went through all the bible texts last year from when they first started being written to when they ended. (HowTheBibleWasMade -YouTube)

One thing that I noted was the Babylonian exile IN 586! I made a video on 586BCE NOT TO DEFEND AGAINST JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES but to explain the issues the Judeans felt after the exile.>>>

1.Monotheism

2. Preseving 'so-called' history

3. Israel's restoration by means of a Davidic King

The issue of 607 vs 586 has NEVER been commented on! It's a stupid point and I doubt witnesses PERSONALLY beleive it anymore

Was Paul a "tentmaker"?

in acts 18:2,3 we read:.

"there he met a jew named aquila, a native of pontus, who had recently come from italy with his wife priscilla, because claudius had ordered all jews to leave rome.

paul went to see them, and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them.".

Paul never said in his letters he was a tentmaker. He does say however he laboured. What that means is anyones guess. The writer of Acts wrote probably 50-70 years after Pauls death.

Paul seemed highly educated in his letters. He begs for money from his churches often. Was he a tentmaker...Is the tradition is Acts authentic? I give 50-50% and lean towards no.

Having noted in the last 3 days a romour of a new revisal of the NWT etc I thought I would see if I have all the NWTs in my collection:

1950-1961 are-

1. Christian Greek Scriptures

2. Genesis-Ruth

3.1 Samuel-Esther

4. Job- Song of Solomon

5. Isaiah-Lamentations (I think?)

6. Ezekiel- Malachi (I think?)

These I have stored away.

Now the 1961 complete green bible I have. (Hebrews 1:6 I think has a difference from today)

The 1969 Kingdom Interlinier I have on pdf.

The 1971 Black Large Print I have.

I have 3 1984 Reference editions

Numerous Maroon and Black soft covers. Also numerous Black Hard Covers (All 1984)

The 2006 soft covers I have several langauges. (All have removed the [] brackets.)

I should say I have 30 other translations. Im a collector- not a believer.

Are there any NWTs I have missed? (Besides the audio on the website lol- BTW the audio.... Mark 16:8... it ends..... John 7:53-John 8:11 ..gone. No footnotes in the audio so it's not canon lol)

WT destroying old literature

i was approached by an elder about a year ago asking what i am going to do with my large collection of wt literature.

he told me the society had put word out that they were collecting old literature.

i asked him why but he couldn't give me a definite answer.

I'm not condoning theft...well actually maybe I am...lol

But isn't the purpose of a library to be abe to take books out to research?

I had an elder once tell me:

"You can read anything in the library just don't remove the books from it." I say b******t!

First as pointed out the WT doesn't like older publications laying around.

Second point.... who reads anything in the KH library... Nobody i've noticed..and I mean ever!

Just take it.

Pointless. Al the older books can be found online on PDF. Also many older witnesses have old books.

Even the KH here has Studies in the Scriptures, WTs from the 1930s and amazingly the book: The Two babylons. <<<<<Fiction book and not a JW book. lol

Why they wish to discard the NWT parts is beyond me. The Hebrew scriptures haven't changed much since 1950-61 and the NT only was updated in 1984 (Well the 2006 NWT removed bracets in places)

Caholics often have used the first chapters of Genesis as a Hebrew story to explain the origins of humans etc. When Jesus or Paul quote something in Genesis they answer by saying:

"Yeah they used Jewish scriptures to explain a point. They didn't really beleive them"

The Jews have a better explaination:

They like JWs explain Genesis 1:1-2:4 as time periods from God's standpoint using Ensteins relitivity model. (Ex. The first day is 12 billion years and the second day is...) From them on they take the bible literally.

Adam eveolved from primative animals (using gen 2:7 as support) and God gave him a soul. Adam was the first man with a soul.

The flood occured only in a small valley. etc.

i always wondered how a man with a travelling companion of two like timothy managed to knnow or hear about all his churches.

how exactly does the troubles of corinth manage to find paul when hes over in judea or maybe somewhere in what we call turkey ?

Wow slow down mp.

LOL first if you read Paul's letter he never said he did anything to Timothy. (That story is in Acts)

The Women being silent is in 1 Timothy (not by Paul at All lol) Paul's view of women was very high. Chloe seemed to run a church. Also in 1 Corinthians in the famous 'head-covering' chapter he says they have to wear a head covering WHEN THEY PROPHESY! Meaning preaching in church.

Paul was ahead of his time to some degree. If Timothy was circuscised (probably wasn't) it was only because of his mother (assuming 2 Timothy has a historical core)

LOL... Well when it comes to history anyone can theorize but here are some facts:

1. I know of no historian that doubts the existance of Paul. If you doubt his existance you then need to explain the undisputed letters in Paul's name addressing real life issues in new, adolecent,mature churches in the actual pre-70CE world as well as countless other issues.

2. The fact that these churches were started by someone.

3. The reverse letter that spawned these letters.

4. The arguments against Paul in Ephesians, Colossians and 1 Clement (And Revelation in a way)
