i may go out of curiosity. they say they expect upwards of 200,000. i wonder how that will compare to 1958 at yankee stadium when there were 250,000 jws.

who of us can be sure if he did abuse kids or not?
how can anyone say he is guilty or innocent (except a victim if there is one)?

i have thought about this too....
but if i had unlimited wealth and resources, even if i was innocent i might have wanted to pay the money just to have it go away....not to have to go through the media circus...not to have to go through months and months of trial...with questions in the public mind never to be resolved anyway no matter what action was taken.... people will believe whatever they want to believe.
i think when the allegations arose again(albeit by the most dubious of accusers) he was forced to go to trial....even though found not guilty he will forever be dealing with this...guilty or innocent.

well i am an lmt too.... been doing it for 20 years -- i am told i am a rarity and that most stop after 5 or 6 years. it does take its toll -- bi-lateral carpal tunnel, bi-laterall des quervennes syndrome, back pains, etc. my practice is dwindling, i have not taken a new client for about 5 years or so, and now i only work onpeople i have known forever.
the profession did serve me well though.

as weird as he is and as strange as he is and as many of his actions are, well, at least inappropriate....
my gut feeling says he is innocent.
so much for gut feelings. and i guess that is why we have the rule of law. and even that makes mistakes.

Why do active witnesses frequent the site?
by jimakazi ini'm somewhat currious why active witnesses appear to frequent the site, and if the information on this site causes any to "fade away" or "dis-associate"?.
personally if i have known 18 years ago what i know now i would have been a lot more active in trying to convince all i cared about to leave, instead of fading away [gone with a bang so to speak].
it's funny how when you are in it you can't see it for what it is.

Scientology & Tom Cruise
by rebel8 inthe stuff on the news is fascinating me, so i just had to start a thread about it.. yesterday i saw online at the guardian that tom cruise had hired some sort of cult bodyguard (tongue in cheek) to accompany his new girlfriend (katie holmes, an actress) around to continue her inculcation into scientology.
they are allegedly saying they're best friends now, though they met very recently.. i'm now reading the 6/17 issue of entertainment weekly magazine.
it says:he had a scientology massage tent on the set of his newest movie (his retort is he had a capuccino tent too)he compares psychiatry to nazis and claims jung (famous psychiatrist) was editor for nazi papers (a claim a jungian group denies)he says methadone was named after hitler (also refuted by the magazine)he slams brooke shields for using anti-depressants
