  they used to wonder whatever happened to me (the bethelite son of the po told me that one night when we were out drinking -- probably about 30 yrs. ago). now -- since they have come to my door and i have accused them of harboring pedophiles, they probably just think i am a "wacko" apostate.

  i think the hardest thing i ever went through was my divorce.

  it was something i knew i needed to go through, and get over, but it was the hardest thing of my life.

  i wanted the divorce, but it was so very painful.... what's the hardest thing you've ever gone through?

  survive -- the loss of the (at least at the time) love of my life. i cried every night in the dark for hours for two years straight asking why why.

  now, almost 30 years later i know why and know in my heart that it was for the best.

  it is amazing the perspective you acquire with the passage of time.

  What a Prat!

  this evening mrs ozzie and i went to our favorite local restaurant - it's out in the outer suburbs, a lovely small thai restaurant - well, any food eaten with chopsticks is okay with us!.

  anyway, we entered and there at a middle table sat a family of three - father, mother and daughter.

  nothing unusual about that except, well it was the badge card that caught my eye.

  hi everyone.. there is a huge dub convention on this weekend where i live.

  i can remember how spiritually full i felt on those weekends as i enjoyed a spritual banquet and an abubdance of spiritual food at jehovah's table, in the spiritual paradise, surrounded by spiritual people.

  I just met Bebu and her family!!!

  i am so proud to say i met bebu and her family.....wonderful people!!!.

  bebu is just as awesome as her posts are....she is a beautiful, geniune, kind person!!!!!.

  they were just at my house for homemade cake and coffee...... i wished i could have spent more time with them, but they were heading for their family vacation...... (((bebu))): .

  i'll have to make this brief because it's getting late.. i've had my first batch of chemotherapy and thus far everything feels fine!

  thank you so much for all the cards (and some presents, too!!!).
