Nathan Homer Knorr - Post your story about him here
by VM44 inthere have been much research lately into the biographies of ct russell and "judge" rutherford, the first and second presidents of the watchtower bible and tract society, but not so much research into the biography of the third president of the wbts, nathan homer knorr.. as there are many people still living, and who also post here at jwd, who knew nathan knorr personally, it might be worthwhile to start a thread about the life and personality of knorr.. so if anyone has any knorr stories, please post them here.

The Narrow Road

i know that it has been some time since i posted last; working full-time and attending law school full-time sort of commands a great deal of... well, time... and as a result i have been a bit remiss in serving god's household, at least as far as sharing with you all here what i have received in the manner that i did previously.
thankfully, jah is not as "exacting" as many have made him out to be (as demonstrated by the life, love and compassion of his son, my lord, jaheshua mischajah), and so i have had the loving freedom to live my life, which i have done with much joy!

i was born, i pioneered, i married, i divorced, i dissassociated under knorr's reign. i feel like my guts are ripped out reading the above + references. still. 30 + years later. i am still trying to make sense of it all, and still trying to make peace with the memory of my parents and my personal history. still trying to find out where i am going. i really need a hug.

when i was in, an interested person with whom my (1st) husband and i studied caught the attention of a married ms. he decided to "shepherd" her and one night went to her home and raped her. this girl was somewhat worldly wise and know she would not be believed by the elders. she got this ms to admit to his actions on the phone in our presence and on tape. imagine how we felt when he was reported,the tape was played for the elders, but nothing was done by the men in charge, even though the ms in question supposedly confessed, and..... SHE ended up being shunned. certainly gave ME pause.
