Officer Wilson not indicted in killing of Michael Brown
by Simon inafter a thorough investigation and weighing of the evidence the grand jury has decided not to indict the officer.. the reaction so far seems as predicted - people refuse to accept that the result represents justice despite claims that is what they wanted.. there is now violence and vandalism, including gunshots.
let's hope the police contain the troublemakers.. .

CNN is shameful!!! Why I put them on again I'll never know. Ha! Completely biased! These people need to go back to journalism school. One on the ground reporter, Jason ? refused to tell Don Lemon what a non MB supporter was yelling on camera. He said because this guy was not there to support MB's family he would notgive him air time or even take the time to tell the viewers what was being said. I'm not liking Lemon these days but at least he asked what was being said.

Family Gathering ( or the day also known as Thanksgiving)
by Theredeemer inevery year on a certain thursday in november my family and close witness friends would get together, eat menudo ( hispanic stew) and other foods, watch football and then get dressed to go to the meeting.. sister so and so would bring her famous pie, bro and sister so and so would bring their gross punch and bro and sis so and so would bring mexican sweet bread.
sometimes we would go to "worldy" aunt's and pick up plates of turkey and fixins.. this was every year on a certain date, on a certain thursday in november.. this continued until my mom got alzheimers.
by that time i was married and had my own house.

We had something like family day when we were kids. We would have a family gathering and all the parents would give their kids gifts. They were just trying to make up fo no Christmas. Can't fault them for that. :)

Ha Ha! This so true! As long as you make it clear you are only doing it because everyone is off from school/work there is no problem with getting together to share food break bread (sometime you even have a turkey since they are on sale) on TG day. My family used to do it often and I knew many others that did as well.

Ha! Desirousofchange, my crazy jdub mom falls asleep through most of the assemblies. My family teases her that she only goes to get a good nap. But she relies on my siblings and the elders to explain her beliefs to her. And she always feels guilty when she has no money to donate which is most of the time.

MY family members were joking about it on Instagram. They were actually posting silly pics with captions that I thought were quite funny. But after all the jokes they all agreed that it was funny but "much needed cousel directly from Jehovah". Oh lordy lord!
