I saw that tv movie, and you know what, I didn't think it was all that negative, it showed her coming through at the end, still being loved by her fans, which is what is happening.

I feel for her, if she were a man this wouldn't be happening to her. Like she needed to worry about a couple hundred thousand when her company was worth millions. I think she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I hope she gets a fair shake.

you all know i just lost my first baby through miscarriage and that my mum was supportive through out the whole ordeal... well it didn't last.
she called me last night and informed me that there had been a committee meeting held and that the elders had decided due to the circumstances that they would disfellowship me.
As to the issue of marriage, according to my grandparents who were "married" in Scotland in the late 1930's, the only "legally binding" papers they had were that their marriage was announced in the church bulletin and they were married before their church, no papers were signed, just 2 people commiting themselves to each other before the god they believed in and their friends and family. Long ago, they never had marriage licences.

i spoke with vicky this morning and the decision by the judge has been postponed.
for thirty more days.
this is difficult for the boer family as this now means.
It is not the first time that CAS has lost a file here, especially in such "tight knit" communities. There are many times that CAS is called in and the police is never informed. Did you think that Gower would just walk into the local precinct and say "hey here I am I molested my daughter, arrest me!" Even if he had the local police all knew him, still do.
The point being, from what Vicki told me, the judge is working on her ruling and that could be a good sign, anything from deciding damages to putting it down in the correct format and manner so that her ruling is clear.
Knowing what I know, I pray that Vicki wins.

to all who have been following my lawsuit against the society here in canada, the judge is to make her decision this week.
it has been a long 8 months since the trial, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that she makes the right decision when it comes to protecting the children (and myself) from the wrongs of the society.
we have not heard yet if she needs more time, so friday is the end of her extension.
