There is "Heaven is for real" with the boy Colton Burpo. He was 4 when he had his near death experience.
Then there is another boy, Alex Malarkey, whose father wrote a book about his heavenly experiences. This book could very well be a hoax as it is so full of christian propaganda.

If your sister reads it, she might get to know your opinion on the matter of religion. Probably she would view you even more as a dangerous apostate person.
It might be better not to use the word "sect."
Maybe it will move the heart of your sister if she sees that you are a very loving brother to her.

anthony morris is ranting against higher education.
he is blaming parents for enrolling their kids in college.
I think that was not yet mentioned.
Anthony Morris was guilt tripping parents again in this jw show.
He said that if a brother or sister goes to university and attends less and less meetings, it's basically the parents fault. They put them there (university).
Morris is the best thing for any thinking JW who watches him, to wake up.
Best would be if Morris and Lett are together in a JW tv show.
i am proud to be a jehovah's witness in the last days, what religion has done this much to proclaim the message about the organization?
other religions are preaching about jesus, some wear the crucifixion, other's wear shirts with fishes but we wear shirts with jw.org!
no other religion has our courage!.
i can understand maybe wearing one of these out in fs, or at ca's & dc/ic, while out and about, but to the kh, come on who the heck are they trying to impress??
it looks so stupid for half the congregation to be wearing these things at most of the meeting.

tonight as i was putting my son to bed, we were looking out his bedroom window from his bed, down upon the neighbors' house across the street.
they have a beautiful, big sparkly christmas tree in their front window and my son gazed at it and said, "that's what's missing from our family.
" talk about daggers through the heart!.
You could have some candles and decorations in your home that have no connection to christmas (like tree branches etc).
You and your husband together could decide to give the children some gifts or surprises a few days before or after christmas or their birthday. They would not be christmas or birthday gifts, just call them differently, for example "winter gift."

How the chairs are arranged is not important. Some might have a circle. There are 3 elders and if it's an appeal there are more elders, but not the whole body of elders (except there are not more than 3 in the body).

i dont go to the meetings or in service but im not df, or da.
she is not budging.. problem- my wife has made it clear that she doesnt want me back unless i do all the witness stuff, i have even offered to attend meetings but not participate in commenting or go in service and this is not good enough.

I am in the exactly same situation.
However at the moment I don't feel the desire or need to actively look for a new girlfriend or wife. I am concentrating on my son now.
But maybe the time will come when I fall in love again. I don't care too much if they would df me at that moment. I know for sure that my father and mother will never shun me, as they don't agree with shunning too.
