I find it interesting my little housecats can jump a 6 ft. High Privacy fence with no trouble yet a zoo considers a 12 ft high wall acceptable for a huge Tiger.

My hubby used to live in San Francisco and always speaks well of the City. One exception is this particular zoo. He said it has always been poorly run. The people of S.F. are known for being animal lovers and it's surprising this zoo wasn't shut down long ago.

Guess who came to our house on Christmas Day...
by exwitless inif you guessed dubs, you're right.
it was around 11:30 a.m., just as i was lazily dozing off on the couch, exhausted because my 9 year old woke me up at 5:30 a.m. (he couldn't wait any longer to look through his stocking!).
i was rudely awakened to the sound of a car door slam in our driveway.

I certainly hope that little boy's parents had something fun planned for later in the day. There are some hard core JWs who made their kids suffer through the holidays. Then there were others who wanted their kids to experience being children so they planned movies, swimming or other neat activities.

I saw this Movie last night and I liked it. The New York Scenes were terrific. My hubby and I watched the Old Vincent Price Verision "The Last Man on Earth" a couple of weeks ago. I liked it too. I have yet to see the Charlton Heston version "Omega Man"

My Pug Rosie Louise had a drooping tail in her later years. We think it was Joint pain from old age.

Bad Expensive Appliances.....
by restrangled inlet me tell you, bosch from germany is out!
i have a very high end oven that cost us $1200.00 (floor model ) originally $1600.00 two years ago, its also a convection oven.. while i was broiling some garlic bread on "low" tonight a portion of the top element decided to catch fire and then quit working.
i keep my oven very clean.

It seems Expensive Appliances don't make a difference. About eight years ago I purchased a Refrigerator, a Stove and a Dishwasher. All were the most expensive in the line. I always believed you get what you pay for. All three of these applilances have problems. The Ice Maker on the refrigerator broke about six years ago. About two years ago the burners on the stove began to overheat. The basket in the Dishwasher rusted away.
I've decided in the future, I wil not buy anything new. What's the use?
