  I think you should be honest with your mom. I don't always like what my adult children do but I have to respect their space. Your Mom needs to "Grow Up" so to speak and start respecting you.

  anyways, ive posted once on this forum and it confirmed my suspicion that worldly people are more encouraging to talk to then witnesses, so thanks.

  i just received an email from a friend with pictures of what seems to be a wt-approved or wt-connected used car business.. this friend is telling us that the cars being sold are those previously used by circuit overseers.

  he's giving us some links and pictures, but i haven't had the time to investigate, so i thought to put them up here for discussion.. the web address of the business is, quite appropriately, www.circuitleasing.com.

  The scandalous effect of JW childrens literature. Why not investigated?

  i can only imagine that in some jw children, the effect of the lessons taught and visual 'illustrations' can be mentally destructive.

  some of the pictures in relation to armageddon are imo 'too much' for a small developing child to take.

  it surprises me that the authorities have not investigated and put a stop to this form of mental abuse in children.

  If only the parents could realize what's happening with there little ones. My little granddaughter is afraid of bugs. I couldn't even begin to imagine how some of the pictures in the Watchtower Childrens Bible Stories Books would affect her.

  My daughter told me when she was young, her dad would scare the crap out of her with these pictures saying this is what was going to happen to me if I didn't come back to the "Truth"

  i can remember about 2 years before i exited the org i had a terrible dilema which didn't really have anything to do with my doubts in relation to doctrine.. the problem was hearing over and over and over about the fact that being in the org was 'the best place to be'.

  that the brothers were 'true friends'.

  didn't they have a video out called 'ypa - how can i make real friends?'.

  I had a difficult time listening to the Bashing of Non-JWs / Worldly people. I knew many people of various backgrounds at work who were sincere, caring people. They treated me better than the people at the Kingdom Hall.

  Poor Excuse for an Apostate

  when i tell anyone i am considered an apostate, they usually think i'm joking and fall over laughing.

  after thinking about it, i can understand why.

  my lifestyle would prompt a farmyard chicken to take up another interest.

  Don't you think most of us are poor excuses for Apostates?

  We're supposed to be out of control, doing drugs, in bad marriages, riddled with Sex Diseases, Drunks, smokers and so forth? Now if we go back, all of these bad traits will go away. :-)
