Drunk Canadians do seem more polite than the drunks I encounter back home. Love those Canadian 'necks and drivers don't seem to exceed the speed limit anymore than the drivers on the Montanabaun.

Wild Turkey or Jim Beam?

i used to like jack daniels but they've lowered the proof so i refuse to buy it now.
one of my friends is convinced they both taste like piss...i don't quite understand that...i mean they both do what they're supposed and they don't taste bad to me....any preferences out there?

they called last night when they arrived in town (nos wish you had been there) and we arranged to meet this morning and then decide what to do.. so i have been with the two of them all day and it has been great.
like meeting someone i've known for a long long time.

We really enjoyed our visit. Are enjoying the relaxing stay in the Canadian rockies. Looking forward to our next stop and the Canadians have been very cordial wherever we have stopped. Banff and Jasper are beautiful. Cloudy, but no snow. I am gradually getting the language down. lol.

The thing to remember that the elders have a great deal of discretion. This is an old boys' club. I have seen a JC reversed twice, once many years ago and one fairly recently. In each case, the brothers jumped the gun and rushed to judgment, having an underlying ulterior motive that was not possible for the appeals committee to ignore.
They don't want the hassle or to antagonize elders they have to work with in the circuit.
Nothing the elders do surprises me.

Russell NOT listed as author on his own book!
by VM44 ini have recently obtained a copy of studies in the scriptures, series vi, "the new creation".
the copy i have is is very good condition.. opening it up, i see it is the 31,000 edition, 1905, and the publisher is listed as the watchtower bible and tract society of allegheny , pa.. but, charles taze russell name is absent on the title page!.
going through the book i find nowhere russell's name mentioned, let alone as being the author of the book.

I checked all my Studies in the Scriptures. The only mention is a reprint from 1925 which says "written in 1904 by Pastor Russell" under the copyright whereas the Vindication Book volumes 2 and 3 have "Comments by J.F. Rutherford" on the title page.under which it reads "Author of Creation, Deliverance, ...."
It seems JFR was the one with the ego.

What Do You Do To Stay Healthy?

i exercise for a couple of hours a day about 4 or 5 days per week, especially in the summertime...so far so good.

Why do men "play" dumb?
by Netty inso i am here this morning with my octopus arms, making the kids breakfast with one hand, getting them dressed with the other, doing their hair with another hand brushing their teeth with another hand, etc.
you get the picture... while my husband sits at the table reading the newspaper.
both kids are complaining of sore throat and have some sort of summer cold, so i asked hime could you please get the medicine and give them some medicine, and what does he do?
