  What Makes A Person Black?

  obviously athletes linford christie and carl lewis are black.

  but how about persons of mixed parentage, are they considered to be black too?.

  how about my son's old girl friend whose grandmother was from the phillipines, is she black because her skin had a slight (and very beautiful) brownish glow that came from her ancestor?.

  I used to hate their reasoning on different subjects.

  Remember the one about how the Org used to get things wrong? They likened it to a boat that swings from side to side in the wind, but eventually gets to its destination.

  just wanted to say i'm so sorry for not welcoming all the new ones, not responding yet to all the wonderful replies to my posts, not saying happy birthday to everyone, and not being a good friend to those in need.

  i've been sick, as well as preoccupied.

  there's a major rant building up in me....which i will append to this post; aren't you all lucky.. i feel like such a frigging loser.. let me just say: it's no one's fault that i got sick and had to start my life over, esp.

  Rose, can't nobody steal your sunshine. You bring so much to this forum; and I don't think you know that, but it's true. When I see your name on the screen, I feel happy , such is your effect ! You know that I think your a great person, and I love you to bits, and so many others here do as well. Just remember, when times are bad, and people hurt you, know that everybody loves you here. I wish I could tell you the secret of remembering the good things people say and forgetting the bad; but I don't know that secret myself.... If you learn it, please tell me

  Please don't ever feel like a loser, because I know that you're not. Didn't you know that i'm always right ? My opinion counts leagues ahead of every other.... especially that loser you work with. The idiot that said those words to you was right at first though.... you are more intelligent! Although their brain stalled in neutral towards the end

  So if it makes you feel better, cry babe. And if ever you want to talk, you know I will always be here, you and me connected hun. You have always been so kind and loving hun, don't let this fool put you down.

  Ever feel like you just wanna chuck it all in.....?

  ok i'm whinging here, but have you ever felt that way about your job/career?

  take today, i'm supposed to be on pa (holiday) from my job, but got called in this morning, turned up on my ward, and ended up staying all day to support the nurses in the team.

  we had 3 cardiac arrests, 1 psychotic patient who was threatening to stab someone, and the usual abusive relatives, who can't seem to see beyond themselves and what they expect.
