  it's true!

  as many of you know, i was divorced in may of this past year, but forced by financial circumstances to continue sharing the marital home with my ex-husband.

  that situation alone is very stressful, but add to it my surgery/treatment for breast cancer and the fact that our house is still not on the market for sale (due to repairs that must be completed, but which i am unable to do and ex- doesn't care to do/take care of) was making me feeling like i was living in a holding tank instead of a home.

  Doctors in South Africa go to court to get BLOOD for baby

  doctors at the pretoria academic hospital have obtained an urgent court order enabling them to give a month-old baby a blood transfusion.

  they felt the life of the infant one of twins was at stake.

  but the babys family, who live in sunnyside and are jehovahs witnesses, are deeply distressed.. you can read the whole story on the renewed watchtower information service.

  News about my new Mini Cooper :D

  i know... some of you must be getting tired of my talking about my new car... but this is my first *new* car and i'm all excited about it.

  today i looked at the owners lounge website that lets me see the progress of my car and the status has changed from on order to scheduled for production!

  this means that the car should start being assembled around oct. 31.. the car sould be delivered in december... it'll be my personal christmas present to myself..

  it is comforting to know that we don't have to feel guilty anymore because we just aren't doing enough.
