Basically when I took a step back, looked at my shitty life and said, " hey everything that is crappy in my life is a result of being a good jw"
No bad came to me from the world. Even though it was supposed to, it didn't. I didn't bring these things upon myself. I honestly did everything by the book. Pioneered for over a decade. Assembly parts. Never missed meetings. Conducted several bible studies. Went to Bethel. Served on the body for years. I really did everything by the book. I heard brothers slandering other brothers. I saw true dislike amongst each other.
But all it brought me was more and more misery and anxiety and unhappiness. The blessing of Jehovah makes one rich? I don't think so!! That just didn't add up.
So I said, screw this I'm going to start a new way of living, one that will hopefully result in happiness for the first time in years.
I suppose it was when I was raped while being a good little baptized pioneer.

this is also an agrument someone used on me because i am not and have no desire to go to meetings.
i for one believe this agrument that i as well as all of you are just being "sifted" out of "jehovah's organization" because we are "hard headed" is nothing more than a pile of crap.. .

How can one be "sifted" out of the true religon when leaving means living a more fullfilled happier life.
Just doesn't add up.
Ah, the usual comeback for this is because when we leave the org., we do so because of selfish human desires.
This could be said if people leave and all that they attain is wealth, prestige or any other fleshly things. But for the most part the ones who leave attain greater satisfaction with life in an emotional, spiritual, and mental state. Something you would expect from the true religion but it is often attained only when you leave.

This is just another way of labelling those who leave.
Very true. They also believe that there is never a good or proper reason to leave. So what do they do, they put a label on it so others will be hesitant to leave. It's nothing more than a scare tactic.

Quick Introduction
by Nocturne ini've been lurking here for a few months now, and i've been wanting to post for awhile now but i've never really been up to it.
i first stumbled upon the information about the wtbts being an ngo for 10 years in september, and ever since i've been finding out about all the other things the society has been up to.
as of now, i'm still going to the meetings, but now my eyes have been truly opened, and i can see things in a whole new perspective, and it's amazing the deception that's going on in the organization.
