  Going Veggie

  when i was jw, i didn't know any vegetarians.

  they had the teaching that god had allowed us to eat animals, so we just eat animals.

  no questions asked.. just recently i started to consider being vegetarian.

  MOre power to you. I have tried those morningstar things that everyone likes and I think it tasts like A$$. I can't stand it. The chicken is ok if you drown it in hot sauce. The burgers? YUCK!!

  But I went to a veggie cafe and loved my cheesy poletna topped with marinara and it was delicious. But it just isn't something I can do every day. Plus I hate all seafood, and I am not a big egg fan so I would have issues with protein.

  I know many vegetarians that eat fish. Even the local vegetarian cafes usually have one or two seafood dishes to choose from.

  Before my wife got pregnant, I confronted my mother about all the abuse. She denied all of it and claims I'm making things up.

  The Day Has Arrived

  two months ago i stepped down as an elder in the cong, it was a tremdous relief although a shock to the cong.

  two and a half days ago i sent in a letter of explaination concerning why i wanted to step down and why i will be absent from the kh.

  it only took two and a half days for the accusation of apostasy to be made against me.

  we were shopping and ran into a jw who had always been very friendly when we were active.

  OT/Fluff: Mineral Makeup users, any good products?

  i use bare minerals foundation and mineral veil.

  i love these products but they are quite expensive.

  i have noticed several makeup companies like neutrogena, physicians formula, almay, etc.

  Awesome, I will definitely give the physicians formula a try.

  I know all makeups are comprised of minerals. However alot of oil is usually added to the liquid foundation. Certain types of those oils cause me to break out. I have Acne Roseca and certain things set it off. The actual mineral loose makeup doesn't have whatever is in liquid makeup that makes me break out in a rash all over my face. That is why I love it. Plus it has great coverage and feels much lighter on the skin.

  Xena you apply it with a kabuki brush. It is a short stocky brush. You swirl in in the power, tap the edges and apply in a circular motion to your skin.

  I was a bit of both. I took it for an answer for the first few years, then I decided to try the conversation stoppers. Are you not interest in religion or the bible? Then I gave up again because that never workd.

  I use Bare Minerals foundation and mineral veil. I love these products but they are quite expensive. I have noticed several makeup companies like Neutrogena, Physicians Formula, Almay, etc. These are less expensive but I am aprehensive. This is due to the fact I tried the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers and that is exactly what they were, SHEER. It didn't cover anything, like foundation should. Plus the packaging was awful and difficult to use. Any of you girls tried any of the new products? Would you recommend anything other than Bare Minerals that is hopefully less expensive? Just curious.
