All you have to do is use the search feature. If the JW kids are using their real names they will pop right up. This would not suprize me in the least. Myspace is what started my need to DA.

Service meeting part about My Space
by seek2find inthis week an article about the internet will be discussed on the service meeting.
at one meeting it was announced that the elders would be contacting parents about kids who have my space accounts.

Kudos to the Christians/Believers on JWD. (seriously)
by Open mind infirst off i'd like to say that the title of this thread is not tongue-in-cheek.
i remember a thread from ak-jeff a couple months ago where he observed how some posters develop a condescending attitude towards christians and how that made him feel like he didn't really fit in here.
i'm sure that may have come across (unintentionally) in some of my recent threads where i've related my arrival at agnosticism/atheism.

Excellent point. I have become apparently an agnostic theist according to wikipedia, but I still respect the opinions of all. You can't be truly informed unless you consider all sides. That is what we forgot to do while in the "truth" and that is what we must all keep doing now.

by sweet pea inwell, i'm sitting here on what should be a meeting night (how wonderful is freedom?
) with a stiff drink.
it's been a hell of a crappy couple of weeks and many tears have been shed but i'm feeling at peace tonight (even though brother in law yesterday informed us they only want emergency contact with us from now on - can you believe they want nothing to do with our two beautiful little ones, their nephews?!

A Farewell to 'Lost Souls'
by Gill inafter very little discussion and even contact with my parents in the last few months, they seemed to decide, either for themselves, or maybe they were put up to it, to confront me on my view of the watchtower society and condemn me, my husband and children to death.....any time soon.....when armageddon comes.
i'm afraid they continually called me an apostate and told me how apostates are , 'evil, horrible, bad and satanic people!
' i asked them if they knew what an 'apostate' was and why they didn't look the word up in the dictionary.

I have never heard of the lady but I do believe some people are more intuitive than others. Mainly because I feel I am one of them. I know a lot of things for no reason. I would like to think there is a scientific explination for it, like using a new part of the brain or picking up on hormones emitted or something like that.
I don't know about spirt guides yet. I am still deciding on that one.

Rollerdave returns to the KH!
by RollerDave inwell folks, it had to happen, i returned to the kingdom hall.. or at least to its parking lot.. but not to worry my little jwd'ers, my return was in true rollerstyle!.
i had dropped off my mom a few days previous when she made some remarks that steamed me, i had felt she was talking through her teeth, but i now know i could only have been half right.. she calls and rambles a while, then directs me to keep her teeth safe.
after i got the explanation for this cryptic remark from her i go and investigate..... there, on my bathroom counter, next to the tushie-cleanliness paraphernalia, is an unexplained white plastic container which contained my mother's lower plate.. smelled 'minty.'.

Well my grandpa just died...
by bluesbreaker59 inso, i get the call today from my aunt, who still speaks to me, and she fills me in, and tells me the visitation is friday (i'm not going), and the funeral is saturday.
my dad told her that he wants me to "sit with the family".
i never went to pay my last respects to him or talk to him, because he was an elder forever, and i was told he wouldn't speak to me, so i never went and never sent a card, nothing.
