Yeah, the first one is weird but kind of liberating in a sense. I hope you enjoy your weekend taking in God's creations instead of merely listening to someone talk about them.

My husband left for the convention this morning, felt strange as I slept in
by AWAKE&WATCHING inas i drove off to work i thought "well this is it, it's official now.
" i never thought back in may that i would not go to the convention.
but what would be the point, i haven't been to one meeting since i found out about the un.. i was so excited when i found out that my former congregation was assigned to the same convention as the congregation i have been in for the last 4 1/2 years.

Any Doctor Who Fans?
by El Kabong ini honestly cannot tell you why i've never discovered this show until recently.
i was up late one night and a pbs station was giving an episode, and i got hooked....it was about something with the daleks and these mophead aliens.
i was blown away at how good this show was.

An Assembly "Experience"-and the rest of the story
by CaptainSchmideo ina brother was on the program for the saturday afternoon session as one of those "life experiences" interviews.
tells the tale about how he left a lucrative, well paying position to "help where the need was greater.
" moved from a major metropolitan area to a congregation in the rurals, was told by managers that the job he was going to was "a dead end".

Nice Experience with my "Worldly" Relatives
by bavman inafter da'ing myself three years ago i wanted to get in touch with some of my "worldly" relatives since i had mostly ignored them for quite sometime and because my witness relatives were shunning me.
about the only relative i had a relationship with was my sister who was df'd.
i wasn't quite sure how to go about this because i didn't know what my parents had told any of them if anything.

AWESOME!!! You gave a real witness to your JW family that day.
I had a similar thing happen at Christmas time with my dad's side of the family. We really enjoyed it.

Baptized at 12 years of age
by Frequent_Fader_Miles ini recently had a very interesting conversation with an online friend.
she was baptized at 12 years old because her 15-year-old boyfriend was baptized, and she wanted to spend time with him.
pioneering was the only option, so she got baptized.

If you aren't on the DL, you may want to show this girl some of the shocking things of the religion, like the vaccination issue, and the NGO thing. She is too young to have been exposed to them.
(((((((Tatiana))))))))))) Wow 12. Brave BOY!!

Actually I feel the same way as the blonde at the register. I am a really smart gal and it always catches people off guard. I dye my hair red constantly just because I am so tired of being treated like an idiot. The only good side of that, is that I am a complete and total clutz. My husband has started calling them (Teri Moments) as in did you just do something clutzy that Teri Hatchers character would do on Desperate Houswives? At least then I can smile and say something like "Guess the blonde roots just kicked in." and get a laugh.

Chat conversation with an active Witness! (LONG, BUT A MUST-READ)
by deaconbluez intoday i had a chat on msn messenger with about the only friend that i still have in the organization.
they don't know that i'm not a witness anymore.
this conversation just goes to show how witnesses are completely incapable of having a conversation.
