Wow, I have had mine stolen before. Note to self: Never leave your purse with keys in it in the trunk when there is a trunk pop beside the front seat. The police found it 29 days later, 1 day before my insurance settlement check.

This one is similar to the one I make
CAKE:
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. water
10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed (use half for cake) (I think my recipe at home calls for 3/4 cup)
3/4 c. oil (My recipe also calls for 1 tbsp of plain flour) Combine cake mix, Jello, eggs and water. Beat 2 minutes. Add thawed strawberries. Beat 1 minute. Add oil. Beat 1 minute. Pour in floured and greased pans. Will take three 9-inch round pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Frosting: 1 box 10x powered sugar 1 stick room temperature butter a few of the left over strawberries in their juice. Cream together 1/2 of the sugar with the butter and a tsp of strawberries and juice. Continue adding the sugar a bit at a time and more strawberries and juice as needed.

today was rather a beautifully balmy hot summers day in the uk and i decided to take the babies to the park with a non jw friend of mine (let's call her y).
as i arrived in the park i caught sight of my best jw friend (let's call her x), one of the many who has decided she wants nothing more to do with me or my family.
i went to meet up with y and x walked straight past me with a quick flick round , obviously to check my babies out!

hello fellow forum members, i am very new here, and feel it is time to share a little about myself.
this site has gotten me quite riled up again, and even after many years my experience is not memorable and still upsets me when i think of it.
my beginning experience of joining the jw organization at age 6 was not unpleasant at all, and was not for many years.

i'm brand spanking new to this forum.... my story is a long one that i will save for rainy day....however i will say i have been out for a long time 10+ years and when i left i really left.
i walked away at 20 (in my heart i was mentally gone at 17) and never really looked back much.
i was raised jw my father was an elder my mother an off and on pioneer (my father is no longer except he goes to the memorials, poor bastard and again thats another long story) i was not shunned by my parents both of whom were still very much in although my father left shortly after me and i would like to think that my bravery and courage allowed him to do the same.

so my mom became a jw, and there is this family down the road that has been helping/brainwashing my mom.
when my dad forbade her to go to meetings she would lock herself in the bathroom and sneak out the window and the jw family down the street would take her to meetings.
the dad/elder in this jw family had been added and removed as an elder a couple of times and no one knew why.
That is pretty crazy.
hello ex-elders, onthe wayout, snakes, and wilyloman, just to refresh about a month ago i told you all that the appeal committee had overturned the disfellowshipping decision by the original jc as the appeal committee got a hold of me by phone and told me the society gave them direction in this.
i have since explained the situation to my witness mom and dad, 80 &82, they are good with it.
i am taking copies of the counsel you ex elders gave to me to be careful about what i say at this "alleged encouragement" meeting and promise you this, i'll watch my words carefully when they ask me questions.

what a random turn of events, my jw housemate decided to show me she still liked me this friday.
she took me out for a rocking evening to celebrate my 2-1 result for my degree!.
this was rather nice as i had been getting increasingly jealous at the fuss others were making over her to make up for the horror of her best mate turning apostate!!
The pioneer went home with a guy?? Wow you guys were wilder than I ever was.
