  The New Kids Book Release; Letter Ideas.

  i think that it would be a good idea to give a copy of that picture of armageddon to any letters that you send to any politicians, legal court cases, whatever the case may be.. the picture is absolutley disgusting, and shows blatant mind control.

  a copy of that in with a letter to any politician would wake them the hell up as to what kind of cult this is!

  maybe a follow-up letter with the picture enclosed?

  Do You Feel That Your Parents "Did a Good Job" Raising You?

  being raised a witness, my mother has asked me whether or not i held her responsible for her bringing me up in the way that she has.

  i feel that my upbringing is something my mother can be proud about.

  even though i do not believe in the "truth", i do feel that she did a good job of raising us.

  My husband says I turned out suprizingly normal considering my upbringing. My dad was great, my mom however is a psycho. I don't do drugs and didn't get knocked up at 15 and haven't been to jail, so I guess they did a pretty good job aside from my mom endowing me with some real emotional issues.

  Hey, I say go for it. But then again, I was raised a witness, all witnesses kids become excellent liars at an early age, so we can actually do a few things.

  when parents start telling their children who to and who not to associate with,

  Don't all parents do that. As a parent you are responsible for your children's actions, therefore you wouldn't want them hanging out with gang members or children who are going to be a bad influence on your kids. However scaring them with the Armageddon thing is going to far.

  Are they predjudice? I would have to say yes to the extent that you are asking.

  What does SOON mean to a JW

  was reading some early 1990 wt articles relating to the un, and was amused at the expression 'soon' god will and do this and do that etc.

  it made me wonder just what does this expression mean to the average jw.

  how relative is this word 'soon' and 'shortly'.

  Whats the craziest thing you've done at the Kingdom hall?

  i was given the "privilege" to open the kh early to switch on the heating.

  they even gave me my own set of keys.. every saturday night, me and another jw would drive to the kh with our amps and guitars and .

  jam until the early morning, using the stage and the kh's pa system.

  I wear really short skirts just to piss people off. Also I too got up during the middle of a talk because I didn't agree with what was being said.
