my 15 year old son is having a party this evening...i have 24 teens here...hormones and all...save me!...actually, they're pretty good kids...just skating and listening to music.
the real problem are the parents.
a few weeks ago there was a party at a house with no chaperones...and the house got trashed...bad.
Congratulations on a successful party and bein' a cool dude.
You ROCK!

we moved out of my parents house last week.
this was so difficult since im df'd and they were only talking to me since we were living with them.
of course i was prepared for what was coming, the yelling, talking, and especially the guilt trip.
((MonkeyPrincess))
I'm so happy for you. It's your life...your destiny...seize it.

i just wanted to introduce myself and share my verbose story.
my name is kyria, i'm 29 years old, originally from the pawtucket/lincoln rhode island congregation in the states.
i found this board yesterday, and am completely blown away by what an amazing place it is.
((Kyria))
What an amazing story.
Welcome to the board. It's nice to have you here.

i was watching some old videos tonight and stumbled across some british greats, like dick emery (ooooh you are awful....but i like you...) fawlty towers, les dawson, kenny everett etc.
i got a glimpse of larry grayson, camp as ever on the generation game.
all of these artists were funny to me, and have me in stitches just watching them again even though (john cleese excluded) they have now departed from this mortal coil, much like the carry on crowd, i seem to enjoy past humour much more than the present stuff on offer.
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Fawlty Towers
Marx Brothers
Hope & Crosby
Abbott & Costello
...I know I'm forgetting some

i was asked to read at the writers conference at the college today.
(i also had two works published in their anthology) well, it went really well there were writer's and agents and i got some really good feedback.
i have a meeting with an agent tomorrow, i really would rather talk about thunders new short story that i want to send to a children's publisher
((Sheila))
That is GREAT!! I'm so proud of you. What wonderful news!
Lisa

Lisa
well i have been talking about this long enough.
it's about time i get my act together and do it.
i am officially opening my on-line counseling service.
((Lady))
How wonderful for you! This will be such a help to so many people.
Congratulations!
Lisa
hi... i haven't been in the internet in such a long time, i just wanted to say thank you sooo much for your support on the recent events on my lawsuit.. i wanted to tell those who are interested that it is being appealed and it will take about a year for it to go to the apellet court.
i must admit when i heard the news it was really disappointing, but it made me feel a little better knowing that it was over a statue of limitations and not because they tried to say it never happened.
i think you all might find this a little funny, a few months back my lawyers had a deposition with the elders involved in the congregation and i was able to attend, one elder kept on saying that he just followed watchtower policy, he also admitted that the two eye witness policy is true, he said that he was no longer an elder and said it was because he wanted to spend more time with his family but is still a jw (of course).

i am off to a party in 10 mins.. but before i go, i just wanted to thank you all for your kind pms and emails.. special thanks to simon, angharad and old e-man for blocking any more information.. special thanks to my best friend for telling me on the phone.. it has been a long day starting with phone calls to my hotel room at 3.30am, dozens of text messages and telephone calls, my poor pa is very upset by all of this.. it sounds like our it dept have managed to identify her, and we can now take some form of action.. again a big thanks to everyone.
caspian...who is about to party for england....
gee Tex...that wasn't cryptic at all

there was recently a thread asking whether you'd rather be buried or cremated.
in a way, i think both are selfish.
i am already an organ donor, so i figure, why not donate the rest of my body to medical science?
On the "burial or cremate" thread I stated that I wanted them to take what parts they could use and burn the rest. I seriously doubt that there will be much that will be useful but they're welcome to it.
