i'm looking for information & experiences that intersexed people may have had in the congregations of jws.. if u are not sure what an intersexed person is u could check out this site... http://hermaphrodite.arriba.net/ .

or if u pefer your text to be paper based rather than pixel, try the book ' hermaphrodites & the medical invention of sex', by alice domerut dreger (1998)... i seem to remember an australian transexual who had been male & a jw and who finished up in the uk.... wrote a book if i remember correctly!

possibly his/her first name was also ken.. would appreciate any information & experiences-- whether positive or negative

That's actually something that would probably be very difficult for a Dub to handle (considering the extremely limited, black & white viewpoint of their main text, the Bible) - is a hermaphrodite and abomination before God? Would the hermaphroditic person have to wear a dishcloth on their head if they wanted to say a prayer at a bookstudy? Would the hermaphrodite be disfellowshipped if they didn't scream while being raped with a gun to their head? Would the hermaphrodite have to show submission and sit in puddles of mud and stuff? Who is the head of the hermaphrodite - Jesus or the Elders or his wife? Or his/her husband?

today, a coworker finished reading my d.a.

letter i have prepared, but not sent yet.. part of my recovery from the damaged caused from membership in the cult has been to be open and honest as to who i am, was and what i was involved in.. so i gave him the letter to read, and he gave it back today, two weeks later, and said:.

"i told my wife, if they ever come knocking at our door, tell them to leave, and if they won't, call the police".

Well, where I currently live there's no chance of any Dubs coming to the door - we have 2 security guards, and knowing Dubs, they won't try to enter our "rich man's palace" here in Johannesburg! They'll just 'witness' to the guards and then go onto the next house. Nice & easy field service, never having to speak to anyone except a bunch of security guards who are so bored even watching paint dry is more entertaining than what they do for a living.

Thank God I live here.

I don't know what I'd do to Dubs if they came to my door I'd make sure I was basically undressed first (if they were women - if they were men, I wouldn't do it, there's no point). Then I'd give them a piece of my mind (thx BTW to all the ppl on this site, you've given me enough cannon fodder to last for YEARS!)

That would send them running, and my house would get a cool little red CROSS on their card - you know, so nobody witnesses here again. Sweet. Maybe I'll help the next tenants that way too!

when is a nutter going to get his revenge on the society?.

there are plenty of psychos out there who have become jw's.how long will it be before someone who has left the org and is mentally unstable is going to get revenge on the society?.

i think the gb should be worried for their lives, if someone gets into bethal with a gun or a bomb they could get blasted to smithereens.. i know it has happened at least twise.a bomb in a kingdom hall in austrailia and i think a fire in korea that killed a lot of witnesses.. but think of how violent the us is compared to a lot of countries and how easy gun accses is there.. it may not be a question of if , but when.

Nice guys left in the cold

i started wondering about the "nice" guys (such as myself).... it's been my experience that women tend not to go for the "nice" guy who has a lot to offer - big heart, kind, good income, etc.

they seem far more likely to go for the aggressive "jerk" or "rebel" who treats them like dirt.. why is that?.

Hehe...KissAFish, don't even bother, I'm a complete and utter BASTARD! I treat women the same way I treat the stuff I take off the bottom of my shoes! I trash their homes, ruin their bedsheets, lie to them, tell them I love them just to sleep with them, steal from them, eat all their food (and them), and then I leave.

Judging by what the woman on this board have said, I am therefore the most perfect, sexiest man ever!

what scriptures do the jw's use to back up the practice of disfellowshiping/disassociating?

There are so many Scriptures that they use you might as well throw the whole Bible in. The primary ones seem to be the ones in the New Testament where Jesus talks about himself dividing families, and also Paul's admonitions to not mix with unfaithful people. I'm sure there's many more, but since I haven't opened a Bible for years (nor would I want to) I can't really help you with this.
