  Hilda: Hello. I was wondering......if you believe the scripture you just quoted why do you generalize and stereotype in your other post and say that "white people are biggots"? That remark came off sounding very racist to me. Do you judge people simply because thier skin is white?
  bigot: one whose attitude or behavior expresses INTOLERANCE as because of RACE, religion, politics, etc.

  oh boy, tdogg, good luck with that...hopefully your wife will carefully research the religion and not jump in with both barrels..... The Mormons were on my street yesterday afternoon chatting with the lady across the street. Funny, they didnt stop here.....they stopped trying with me :)
  I think some of their beliefs are downright blasphemous but I just gotta love 'em anyway.... look at the Osmonds what a nice family :) And those fellows who came over here before, trying to convert me, what a polite couple of young men! They had the "meek and mild" thing down pat.

  A Catholic Priest died and went to Heaven. When he got there, some angels asked him what he wanted to do. He said he wanted to read the Holy Scriptures in the original manuscripts. Okay, thats fine, they said, and took him to a study and gave him the manuscripts.

  Some time later the angels returned to check on him and found the priest reading the manuscripts and sobbing uncontrollably. They asked him why he was so upset. With a terrible cry, he answered, "it says CELEBRATE, not celibate!"

  The New Pledge of Allegiance.

  an email i received today.... since the pledge of allegiance and the lord's prayer are not allowed in most public schools anymore because the word "god" is mentioned..... a kid in arizona wrote the attached.

  school.

  now i sit me down in school.

  Xander: Just because something is or isnt in the handbook is not the point. Its what actually happens that is the point. I am sure you know as well as I that what the rules might say and what actually happens are two different things. So, regardless of what her handbook might say, in real life where it counts, she was censored.

  Xander: that is YOUR school handbook. Every school is not your school, or hers for that matter. There are alot of schools where clothes with profanities and alcohol are either allowed or the prohibitions against are not enforced. My schools were probably not as strict as yours from the sound of it. I am about 10 years out of high school.
  The school this girl went to allowed marilyn manson and eminem but not her shirt. I am not trying to say theres some big conspiracy. This kind of stuff happens though, too often, and most kids would have been shamed into not wearing their shirt. I think if theres going to be rules they should apply equally.
  I just did show you a school that tried to. The teacher AND the Vice Principal. It took them a month to decide she had the right to wear that shirt.
