I have my good and bad days.... sometimes I wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and I think "yikes!!" lol
Other times expecially when my husband and I get dressed up and go out, I think I look hot. For me it just varies from day to day
As long as my husband thinks im good looking that is pretty much all i care about.

What's funny is I bought the album when it first came out and I didnt really listen to it until a few days ago. Now I listen to it all the time to and from work. This album kicks ass! I love the jazzy rendition of "my favorite things"

i just told a dub here at work about the letter.
when the dub told me i was on my way out of watchtower-land anyhow, but the blatant hypocrisy just floored me.
okay, so here's how the conversation went:

She may have responded like it was no big deal. However it may have created a tiny crack that might get bigger if other issues are brought up as well. Sometimes it takes several instances for dubs to finally see what is really going on. Or if something affects her personally that is when she may stop and think.

I dont the majority of JW's actually enjoy looking down on other people. I think that they've been indoctrinated into believing that they are the only ones that have a special relationship with god and the rest of the world is doomed. They think they know the secret to everlasting life. That in itself causes a self-righteous attitude and the feeling that they really feel sorry for those that dont have the troof or that turn their back on the organization God.

it's so hard to choose, but i would have to say the theocratic ministry school was my most hated meeting.
the first few talks were a rephrasing of mind-numbing society doctrine.
then it was time to listen to a ten-year old read nwt to us........... #3 talks, don't even get me started!
i think the worst had to be the tms and service meeting because 1, it was at night when all my favorite shows were on. Also, when I was in highschool it was miserable because i would never have any time to get my homework done. I had to study for the meeting after school or prepare for a talk and then go to the meeting, sit for what seemed like an eternity and then come home exahusted and try to stay up for three or more hours to finish my homework or study for an exam. bleh!!!
There was a thread recently about how many hours we think we may have spent in service.
well guys how many hours do you think you've wasted attending meetings??

I want to stress again that think its important that if we plan to send this information to those that are still in the borg, that just a copy of the letter might not be convincing enough because they can say that the letter must be fabricated by apostates. Show them how to get to the web site themselves, step by step just like jgnat and others have stated, so they can see that its not made up. That was the point because if they see this on the UN's site themselves that cant argue that it is apostate lies or "the media" trying to pursecute them.
