I got hooked on "24" this season.
Oh yeah! Both seasons of 24 have been incredible.

i'm a celebrity get me out a here...(yeah, get em outta here fer crying).. oprah winfrey/ricki lake...omgaawd, oprah thinks she's "a god" or something and so does her audience.. neighbors/eastenders/corra st/ all of em come to think of it.. what grates your teeth?

Not even HOCKEY? The horror...
I'd rather go to a real hockey game! We have a local WHL team here and it's a lot of fun to watch.
But sports on TV? Nope. I don't even watch the Super Bowl!

Scully, I agree with you! CSI is an awesome series. I only started watching it about 6 months ago so I'm enjoying a lot of reruns too.
I don't really care for reality shows, but American Idol is hilarious when they are starting a new season. There are some horrible singers and they're great to watch.
I never watch sports on TV... way too boring.
I like watching Discovery Channel, Learning Channel, History Channel, and of course the lighter stuff on Fox, SciFi, Tech TV, etc.

It will be the final nail in the coffin. But it will also open your eyes to the Truth about the "truth." It was hard learning that what I believed so fervently for so long was a bunch of crap, but at the same time it feels good to come out of it. I used to think it would be better to be ignorant and still in the org, but that feeling passes and you become so grateful that you are no longer part of it.
Leaving was the hardest thing my wife and I have ever done, but there's no way we could NOT have left after learning what we did.

Cassi, it is definitely inappropriate to spread gossip. I have heard so many contradictory things about people that I basically ignore things I hear and base my opinion about a person solely on my own personal experience with them.
If it was a pretty close friend, I would probably tell them about the gossip. But if it was really hurtful I may not. I guess it depends on the situation. But I would never repeat it.

So your saying that would cause a paradox, and that would be a bad thing.
No, that's not what I'm saying. A paradox is not a "bad thing" or a "good thing". It just shows the impossibility of changing the past with knowledge of the future. It doesn't matter if you're changing the past with knowledge of the present or if you're changing the present with knowledge of the future.
In either case, a paradox would result because the "evidence" which made you change events would no longer exist. So how could you know about something that never happened/never will happen? You couldn't. So what made you go change history? You couldn't have.
The "killing your grandmother" example is the easiest one to picture as being impossible, but it applies to other forms of changing events. Your example is bound by this same rule. If the parents somehow knew they would die on XX day by seeing into the future and changed those events, they could no longer look into the past or future and see their death. The evidence that they would die on XX day does not exist.
And no, looking at horoscopes is not the same thing as gaining real knowledge of your future.
