Cant stand the thought of wearing mine..gave them away .De-clutering my mind, my wardrobe and all my watchtower
and awake mags went inside the bin. I am now reading books and educating myself.

ELDERS CAME KNOCKING AT MY DOOR
by wakingup60 inso this is the situation..........haven't been to meeting for the past 10 months....misssed dc as well as 2 day assemblies.. i have woken up to the fact that the watchtower is not god's organization so their is absolutely no way iam going.
to give the elders any of my time.
i have no desire to agree to a sherherding call!.

So they knocked on my door only because they are aware its my dayoff and my unbelieving husband is not at home.
I was busy perming my hair so I accused them of not ringing first so they said they would ring before coming again!
I just feel I should just tell them I dont wish to discuss any thing!.I am calling the shots not them!
Did any one here experience a similiar situation?..How did you deal with it?.....( Haven't go tany family in the truth so I haven't got any thing to lose)
AlsoI feel the need to go to Church!

Intimidation and the guilt associated with questioning or doubting "God's organization" has blinded JW's.
Witnesses believe that if they remain loyal to "God's Organization"they will never have to die!
They are "captives of a concept".

If you told anyone what the AGM was about before it was screened in their cong, you could DIE!
by Julia Orwell inamong the inane fb comments i've come across about the agm, this one stood out as more inane than the most enthusiastic jw slobbering:.
"before we start taking about what happened at the agm we must be absolutely certain that all the meetings are over.
make sure that we are obedient in the small things ago that we will be obedient in the big things.

A sister told me yesterday that she missed me at the meetings ( I haven't been for nine mths)..
I said I have issues.....She said that an Elder told her once that if we have a problem
with our brothers and sisters would we stop eating at the table!
I told her I did not have a problem with the brothers and sisters at the meeting..only those
who are in charge!...She said we all have issues!
This conversation could have ended badly...so I bit my tongue and went on my merry way!
Dont feel the need toexplain your actions to them!

When I stopped going to meeting they thought I was ill..( I was sort of..I had high blood pressure so i use that as an excuse..but i was so stressed out
when I found out TTATT ).... The book study conductor started calling me on my dayoff..I told him I will come back when I'm ready!
I's been 9mths now..haven't heard from them in the last three mths...
