New Releases - What is there left to write about?
by truthseeker inhi everyone, and thanks to all for your comments in my recent posts.
i can't always get round to logging on, but do appreciate your feedback.. now for a question - what is there left to write about?
i mean, isn't printing 24,000,000 awakes and watchtowers enough?

What, there is nothing left to write about???? How about their favorite subject- "Masturbation"
Infact the title would be "Masturbation, it's grand climax in hand"....

Were you married at the Kingdom Hall ? How bad was your wedding reception ?
by run dont walk ini'm just wondering...... i remember going to some wedding receptions for couples who got married at the kingdom hall,.
and i hate to be mean but, super boring, and bad, how bad you ask ??
ok here we go ..... - the worst had to be one couple played kingdom meolodies for their wedding dances, i couldn't believe it.. - no alcohol (i'm sure we all experienced a few of these), reception was over by 9:30.. - no music at all, just a gathering of people, and they ended the reception with a prayer, i thought i was at an assembly.. - food, like if you can't afford to get married don't, like frozen stuff bought at your local grocery store, and still in the package when you got up to the tables, how tacky.. - you could always tell a couple who couldn't afford much, when you had to drive 50 miles into the back woods to find some dinky little community hall they rented for $100.. - i remember one where the bride was pregnant, i was really surprised they allowed them to use the kingdom hall.. - another classic was, they had this band (of all jw's of course) and man they were bad.

My whole family has drinking problems..... My wifes side are Austrians and my side are Irish....No alcohol at the wedding would have been a sin against the holy spirit...

The Society's worst release
by Nosferatu inwhat, in your opinion, is the worst thing that the society has released?
(book / tract / video / audio cassette)

My most hated was "questions young people ask, answers that work". I remember having to study that book with my dad. The best part is any anti sex stuff the society would write just made me more and more curious.
But the worst was the Revelation book. What the hell was it about????

The Jdub weddings without alcohol would tick me off. It meant I would have to run down to the store and pound down a six pack. The best part was everyone noticed when 3 or 4 guys would come in a little glassy eyed. We were also usually the only one having somewhat a good time.
Thank God my wedding was a good old fashioned Austrian/Catholic party. Everyone partied and had a spectacular time. Jdubs think if you have fun doing something it must be wrong....

Why do CO's always have such big fat briefcases?
by truthseeker inlaptop?
contributions?
it seems the more responsibility the brothers have, the bigger their briefcase..

An elder/friend of mine, who is now DF'd, told me when I asked him that question, it was because he carried all the files from my judicial commitees in his bag. We got a good laugh out of that...

They are not out of line Andie. I left the borg after wasting the first 23 years of my life. I couldn't take a religion controlling every facet of my life. I hated the cliques in the congregations and pompass elders getting into my business. I hated that my father would get jobs to make just enough money so he could also aux. pioneer on a regular basis. I hated field sevice and I hated wasting a whole 2 hours on saturday for our family study. This forum has really provided me an outlet that I have needed for years and also the real good association which is ex-Jdubs...
