upon really meditating on this how can any jw believe this?

As JWs we are taught that only JWs will survive armageddon. Upon really meditating on this how can any JW believe this? The good news means that 99% of the worlds population will be wiped out? hm. Guven the history of the old testament, extermination is not surprising...but billions? the very God whom teaches love and to hate violence will be responsible for the largest mass killing in the earths history? And when the survivors are tested again after 1,000 years are tested again those who fail wll be annihilaated?

so im watching equilibrium and john preston (christian bale) is an officer who has to identify and kill or get rid of "sense offenders"-humans who stop taking medication to control their emotions.

anyways at the beginning he goes and meets with the chancellor if the tetragrammaton....lol i was like "oh wow.

Yesterday's WT "Study"

just a few observations about the material in yesterday's wt "study".. the wt informed people this week that as long as there is no clearly stated law from god we still cannot observe standards that are common in our area or that we were raised with, if we are christians.

the reason they gave?

as imperfect humans we don't have the ability to determine what is right or wrong.

And even if that werent the case what DD brought up...moses was chosen by name, wrote many books of the bible...the ONE scripture in matt iswrongly applied to take a singular word "slave" and some how Make it mean a singular group of plural people....what a stretch.
