It will be good for the people who are in, but for as who lost 10-20-30 years of contacts with relatives, it would mean nothing. My nieces and nephews do not know me, so do my cousins. My biological father is dead. I would gain nothing from the end of the shunning policy.

Rubbish theory. China and Russia are NOT allies. I remember during communist times when everyone hoped that China will defeat USSR and will take over Siberia. For Russians, China until 1985 was one the most dangerous place to visit. China plays its own role and will not itself manipulate by Russia. Russia is nowhere near to be a superpower. Its economy is the size of Italy and have very low export turnover which is made mostly of commodities. Europe depends somewhat on Russian energy, but EU is much diversified, having access to oil and gas from all over the world. Soviets, and Russia did invade its neighbor in the past 200 years and EVERY capital of Europe east of Paris was some point occuppied by Russia and USSR since 1800. So did every Slavic capital. There is not new. I used to walk to school as boy with Russian and Soviet troops pointing their machine guns to us in in post 1968 Czechoslovakia for the next 20 years.
Western Europe does not care about Eastern Europe or Ukraine, and actually they would be delighted if Russia will take everything east of Germany. It is not for nothing when NYT said that Germany is Russian butt-boy and Germans are in love with them. War at Ukraine is actually weaking Russia even more as it lost control over country of 45 millions. Take into consideration of Moldavia, Georgia and unpredictable Central Asia, Russian influence is wanning since 1980's and has less alllies than USSR.
King of North is nothing more than speculation. Daniel could not write anything about Christians as they did not live in his lifetime. It could only mean Jews. However, both Russia and Western world has good diplomatic relationship with Israel than there are not fitting your description. 1/6 of Israel's citizens have birthplace in Russia. USA, UK, Italy and Germany have also good relationship with them. So anyone who tries to model Daniel's nonsense with modern world needs to at least make an effort to understand a bit about it.

Half Of US Can't Come Up With $400
by metatron inhttp://wealthydebates.com/half-americans-cant-come-400/.
there are a number of such observations being recently made - such as a large number with debts subject to collection and people facing retirement with no savings.. i advise the wts to 'take the money and run'.
hard to see this situation getting better.. .

There is two reasons for it, one is easy available credit and second low return on savings. Some countries have very high saving rate like in Europe or East Asia, but does not mean that people are living good or do not have financial issues. If your saving rate is bellow the inflation that there is no much need to save in cash. Majority of semi-liquid money in USA are in retirement accounts like 401K which are among the highest in the world. Germans have very high saving rate but also 2/3 of them are renters, yet their retirement portfolio is among lowest value in EU.

LV, St. John Wort has benefits, but it can be dangerous for people who are photosensitive like me with pale, nordic skin. It will really quickly turn your skin red on sun exposure. St. John Wort was used as punishment during ancient and medieval times as people were forced to drink it and tied to the pole which would cause them to get really painfull sunburns. Other herbs can be dangerous as they can cause issue with other meds. My father once suffered poisoning after making a tea from herbal extract that he purchased at store. He ended in emergency room having his stomach pumped out, pale, shaking, and profoundly sweating.
I would still recommend combination therapy like relaxing tea, background sleeping music, hot bath with minerals, and OTC items in low dose that can work just for you like kava kava or melatonin.

Angels according to OT have a free will, but lack a desire to sin. However, they may and choose to do so on their own will. Judaism does not know notion of original sin and believe that angels do sin and face punishment. Angels who destroyed Sodom were banned from entering Heavan for 120 years because they misrepresented God's judgement.

weird: passing around literature fragments in prison
by Magnum ini dont have any specific references, but over the years i remember reading in the mags and hearing in talks stories of imprisoned jws who would somehow get a piece of a page of a jw magazine or an article or something like that and pass it around and get spiritually nourished by it as if it almost had a magical or supernatural nature.
does anybody else remember such?.
i always thought it just didnt make sense.

Generally what I heard during Czechoslovakia from elders who were imprisoned during Stalinist years, there was never really smuggled entire magazine, but rather extract of informations like what verses to debate, etc. Some elders we had were in forced labor camps in the 1950's and felt entitled on truth and how much the sufferred for the faith and lived on several biblical verses passed from the Mother in Brooklyn. It is unlikely that people would be able to smuggle entire print although it was possible if you bribe someone. First there was not enough publications, we had to share. Any smuggling would require tearing up the magazines. So the information were passed by form of letters, small notes, and extract from WT. It would not be much different from note exchange that was used by imprisoned Catholic clergy, or by dissidents within communist party. Pretty much all these information are well documented and available in the DoJ archives in most of the Eastern Europe.

LV I usually combine regular calming teas and a glass of warm milk and honey. If I go to bed too early like 11pm, I will be up by 4, so I go to bed around 1 wake up at 7:30 and I do not have to be at work until 9. Six hours is the most I can get. On weekends, I sleep eight hours or so. Insomnia is very little understood and generally docs do not want to treat it. I got lucky on primary care physician who understand my condition and sent me to various studies. Overall, there is a danger of getting adicted to sleeping pills and many people abuse it. Other continues to increase the dose and combine it with alcohol which is a lethal combination. Therefore, it is crucial to find a balance between getting a good sleep twice per week and cope with insomnia from time to time. As I got older my insomnia episodes are less frequent, maybe once every 8-10 weeks. Still I would recommend talking to doctor and not let yourself self medicate and self diagnose. I would be extremely carefull on over the counter stuff, as people react to them differently. Melatonin did nothing for me even with the strongest dose. Lunesta made me drowsy, upset my stomach, and gave me a horrible headaches that lasted for two to three days. 2.5mg of ambien works best because it is extremely small dose and work within your system quickly. I do not have side effect like headache, nor upset stomach.
Ginger tea, mint, lavender, lemon, passiflora and orange teas are best as relaxation before bedtime. One tea cup is enough. You do not have to drink a liter of it before bedtime because the amount can stress your heart. Also I would be carefull with other herbs, where St. John worth can create over sensitivity on sun and cause you sunburn quickly. It was well used torture plant by Romans who forced condemned to drink it so they would develop painful sun blisters.

My insomnia always peaks in November/December. I taking prescribed small dose of Ambien, because this is only thing that work. I went to two different university hospitals for sleep issues and never had any positive result why I cannot fall asleep except that my body does not produce sleep hormone after accident (had back and head injury). Never any solution for it. I could go without any sleep for several days. I was/am physicially active. I used to train for marathon, was bench pressing and was better shape at age 40 than I was 20 as JW sucker, I run, climbed mountains, camp in the woods, but no amount of physical activity would make me sleepy. Never. Only tired. I would not recommend over the counter meds, because they have side effect and damage liver. Never take alcohol to fall a sleep. Talk to your doctor, there is nothing wrong to take prescribed medication in very small amount occassionally.
Winter is good time to go to ski, and helps to be on fresh air. Burning us much heat before dinner. Learn what your body needs. Valerian or melatonin works only for some (not for me). Sometimes I just sit on my backyard with dew falling down and sun is rising over big city and I do not sleep. I learn how to deal with it. Insomnia sucks. I live with it for 16 years or so. I did my undergrad and postgrad at night in my insomnia loops. Never was out of job, and never had issue with it in personal life. I know it will be much easier to go to bed and just fall asleep, but I could not.

Insomnia is horrible thinks and condition that is almost uncurable. I deal with it for 15-17 years and went to numerous treatments without any result. My started suddenly as a result of grave car accident, and had episodes that I could not sleep for two three days for several months. I been physically active, I used to run up to 20 miles per week, and until age 40 able to bench press my weight. However, no amount of exercise would help me to fall asleep. Melatonin and over the counter meds do not help and I had severe allergic reactions to several prescribed meds. I am being prescribed a small dose ambien, but would not recommend to everyone. Some people react to it strangely, for others it does not have any effect. I take it occassionally, when I feel that I will not be able to fall asleep.
I would avoid tylenon as it damages liver and any long term effect will cause problem. The best combination is sleepy therapy with tea, sleep music, and a lot of daylight in the summer. I sleep well after beach time. Avoid self-medication and always talk to primary care doctor. Some insomnia could signal other issues, so listen your body.

How can be 1st century a tribulation to Christians, while combining events of Jewish revolt and Nero's prosecution? You cannot have both. Until false apostle a liar Paul showed up, there was no division between Jews/Judaism and Christians. Majority of people who dipped themselves in baptistry were Jews. Jews were not prosecuted by Romans throughout the Roman empire until 45 years later after Romans took over Jerusalem in 70A.D. For millions of Jews living in comfort of Alexandria, Rome, and Greece, these events were not affecting them directly, except they heard news how got their ancestral land trashed as was normal by Roman administration (as they did with Illyria, Britania, or Batavia uprisings that happened at their lifetime). Viviane is correct. Judea was a part of Roman Empire for century when revolt happened. It the same as claim that civil war over slavery will happen in USA in 1870.
If Jesus fullfill any prophecy, Jews living in Judea will acknowledge him. However, since he did not, no Jews does accept him as messiah. Additionally, does anyone believes that Messiah went on hiking trip with Satan to see all the kingdoms of the world? Does it proves that gospels are inspired or just bunch of rubbish inventions and stories debated decades after the death of Jesus?
