Why cant the myriads of angels go and preach / convert and save people ? People would believe without any doubts. Wouldn't they ?

Why should WE be the bloodguilty ones??
by stuckinarut2 init struck me just how odd and weird it is that jws are told that if they do not preach, they are "bloodguilty" for failing to warn people of the upcoming destruction at armageddon.. hang on a minute now, hang on!.
why should a mere human be made to feel "bloodguilty" and "responsible" for "failing to warn someone" of gods wrath??.
these average people are not the ones who are about to unleash a genocidal massacre on 99% of humanity (including babies born to non-witnesses).

Need help understanding the Overlapping Generation teaching
by Jules Saturn inso this is a topic that seriously boggles my mind and please correct me if i'm wrong.
to me, the jw definition of the overlapping generation teaching is that the lives of the anointed from 1914 overlap with the lives of the anointed right now.
david splane used the example of fred franz and how he finished his "earthly course" in 1992 but while he did, he had a lot of "contemporaries" that outlived him and are currently living today.

The supposed Jesus or whoever assured all these things, in Mark 13 and Mathew was highly deluded. Also, if a leader promises to a crowd that whatever he foretells will be fulfilled in this generation means, the generation of the people standing before him. As simple as that. Any other interpretation is nonsense.

Do they take the GB seriously?
by Tech49 inso this is an honest question that i have been thinking about for some time.. do regular jehovahś witnesses in other countries (other than the usa) take the governing body in new york seriously?.
i mean, i cant help but wonder about the publishers in japan, or south africa, or mexico, or new zealand, or even the uk, or spain, or italy...... or russia?.
not you and i (we know what you think of them), but the regular jwś...... do they take these american buffoons seriously?

I was told that a GB guy visited the Bethel Inauguration in Bangalore, India. After his speech , the entire audience stood in a line for a handshake with him. I bet many would have thought that a mere physical contact with such a holy person was a great privilege.
This is the case in developing countries.

Parents who try to make you feel guilty.
by NJ501 inwhen parents say all the things we've done for you and your not doing anything for us in return like going to meetings, witnessing, answering up etc... how do you respond to parents?.

Reassure your parents that your love for them would remain as ever.
Make them realize that serving an Organization doesn't mean that you are faithful to your parents. It takes time but would work. My Experience.

- When you tell people to examine their religions, have you honestly examined your own religion ?
- Organ Transplants were banned by Watchtower, relating it to Cannibalism. Why did the WT revoke it ? What reasons were given ? How many died before that ?
- Can you explain why your religions permits certain fractions of blood while banning others. Biblical reasons ? How does the human body treat consumed blood and transfused blood ?
- Are you aware of all the failed Doomsday predictions of WT ?
- Story behind Beth Sarim ?
- Do you know WT had been a member of the UNO ?
- Can you explain the Overlapping generations, precisely ? How many times this was revised ?
- If your religion excuses itself with "New Light" theory, can the same excuse be applied for the wrongness of Christendom ?
- You allow your own members and children to die refusing blood transfusion. Life doesn't matter here. But celebrating birthday is a great SIN.

In my experience, confessing that you don't believe in the GB infuriates the JWs much than telling them that you don't believe in God.
