Yeah he is around and he knows it is a cult, but he's worst than my mater. When actually believing in it, he would get very upset and do funny things. Don't feel comfortable around the old man. I do feel sort of gullity for letting the meetings get in the way of me going over his place. But now I know it is a cult but still want to live with mater.
There is a lot of problems with the religion but containment is vital.
Definitely. How could you not stay in tact/tak with people who have helped you? I have got to do at least that.

i made an effort to plow thru the latest bullsh*t from the wts in regard to the faithful slave, etc.
i must admit that, their latest set of interpretations make more sense than formerly.
they seem to have done away with 4-6 different 'comings' of jesus and they pretty much stuck everything in the future, so they are off the hook in the present.

To be truthful, one sister in our congregation secretly watches horror serials. I know because she needed me for assistance on her chines and I saw the classic "Carrie" sitting on her television stand. And you'd never guess she is the number uno pioneer in our hall.
i started yesterday.
took the kids (they were both princesses) and my nephew to 3 different events.
got tons of candy and the kids had a blast.. .
Not really interested this year. But while I was still in agreement with the phony Russelites, I actually went trick-or-treating with my brother. We both knew it was wrong, but we really wanted some candy. We dressed up in regular clothes because we had no costumes. I actually put socks on my hands to trick people into believing I actually had a costume. We both agreed we would never tell anyone. We sure enjoyed the candy.
