  for 18 months i have been at loggerheads with my wife over the wts.

  she has been the perfect watchtower slave even declaring that she'll never leave the truth.

  i decided not to interfere in her life, attacking the society, and the idiots in the hall, but recently things have changed for the best.

  are you looking forward to the 2007 dc?it will be the best ever.will you be there for fellowship and association?have you started making preparations?have you requested time off work?have you booked your hotel room?what will your goal be at the dc this year?

  all very good questions.. why is the 2007 convention special?

  Seven years ago I was "inactive" and newly divorced. And broke and supporting two kids. My family had already decided to shun me because I wasn't attending meetings and they thought I must have committed a sin. Nothing was further from the truth! My new "worldly" friends were a huge support and got me through the tough times. I still thought the wtbs might be right but knew I'd never go back. I was still three or so years away from discovering JWD.

  i hail from new bedford, mass.

  i was a newbie with the jw's in the mid 50's, quickly and naively following my parents, and when i graduated high school (new bedford high) i moved to where the "need was great" in central iowa.

  the following is a composite photo of some of the folks that met on the second floor of an insurance building in new bedford.

  i received a letter in the mail today from my mother.

  my mother who when growing up a jw was considered a trouble maker.

  Their numbers are falling. The "preaching" isn't effective; they're mainly baptizing kids. If they could strong arm "inactive ones" back into the org, it might make a difference. Maybe this is behind the push though the r&f wouldn't know it. This time they're buying into, again, the line that the end is practically here. Just think, if they could get former jw's back how much less work it would be than the door to door work.

  to those of you who followed the last post about the idiot who keeps e-mailing me -- he keeps sending me more letters even though i quit sending him letters.. .

  good morning renee: i expect you will be reading this early when you come to work.

  these are trumped up charges just like they did to jesus and the apostles by those who hate jehovah and his flock.
