I'm sorry, I don't know how she can be described as well spoken. Her sentence structure in nonexistent, she didn't answer questions, seemed to begin a sentence with one subject and ended up on something entirely different. She came across as self confident, but that's not the same as well spoken.

I think I da'd myself a few weeks ago. My sister had an elder call me. I wasn't home but recognized the name on my caller ID. It's been nearly 20 years since I saw this particular elder. (I've moved.) My sister was actually in town and didn't call me. I decided to return the call on my terms, no surprise call from him. He sounded shocked to hear me! I told I'm I'd called to see if everything was all right with my sisters. He reassured me it was. He said he'd called to see if I was ready to come back to the truth! I told him No. When he asked why, I told him it was too long of a discussion for the phone but that I no longer considered it the truth. He kept talking about how only Jehovah's people are following the right path despite how busy everyone was. I wasn't going to debate him. I just said to let my sisters know I was here if they needed anything. He got to count about 15 minutes! Sorry, this is off topic...

Married my partner...

we just got back from san francisco where we were married last week.

maybe some day gay couples won't have to travel 1,000 miles to get married, and their commitment of love will be recognized by society.

there will be no need to use code - my friend, my roommate - at the office, with neighbors, or with family when speaking about the person with whom you live your life.

i was a full time preacher who else did ?

i did the full time min from school even though i could have gone to drama school.what a wast of my time and life!!!!!!!!!!!!

!iam happy to say that i came to my senses and went back to school and became a nurse,very happy i did my wife is still a jw but she stopped the pioing and she to became a nurse.. i will make sure my kids dont get temped to be encouraged to do that wast of time.as the wife still goes,and my mom and dad and sisters still go.. anyway would love to know what others who were pioneers felt of it and what doing now,please tell..

I pio'd for four years, three of them "where the need was greater." Really struggled with trying to live on minimum wage of 20 hours work a week and burned out after a couple of years. Kept going a couple more after that. Aux'd a few times. What a pointless waste of time.
