And don't brag about the Gunners too much until they put away Celta Vigo.
Oh, but they WILL put them away. Its not bragging...there is no doubt in my mind

any stories about fun u actaully had in the orginazation?
I was shunned pretty much from the start. Forbiden to talk to non-dubs, ignored by my peers. I did this for 15 years. The only good memory I have is the first time I met my wife...and the tight blue dress she was wearing!
Its goona be a onesided fight..!!! Portsmouth v Arsenal - An FA Cup history | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Despite both clubs having a long and proud history, Arsenal and Portsmouth have met on just three previous occasions in the FA Cup. Pompey have yet to register a win over Arsenal in the famous old competition, and another good omen for the Gunners is that whenever the two teams have met we have never failed to reach the final. The first meeting, a fifth round tie in 1932, saw the Gunners run out 2-0 winners at Fratton Park with goals from Hulme and Bastin. Arsenal then went on to beat Huddersfield Town in the quarter-finals and Manchester City in the semi's before losing 2-1 in the final to Newcastle United. There was a gap of 39 years before the two teams were again pulled out of the velvet bag together.
It was the legendary 1971 FA Cup run, and Arsenal had already disposed of non-league Yeovil Town in the third round. Portsmouth were our opponents in the fourth round and went one-nil down, thanks to a Peter Storey penalty. Arsenal seemingly had the tie wrapped up until the final minute when Pompey's Mike Trebilcock popped-up to earn the home side a replay at Highbury.
Arsenal made no mistake at home winning 3-2 with goals from Charlie George and the two 'Peters' Simpson and Storey. Arsenal of course went on to win the FA Cup that season, beating Manchester City, Leicester City, Stoke City and finally Liverpool to clinch the elusive 'Double.'

"Governing body show their real feeling towards the R&F"
i have been fading since the middle of last year.
if it wasn't for my wife being a devoted dub, i probably would not go to the meetings.
i go to around 65%-75% of the meetings.
Do everything that Sentinel said, its good advice. However, I recall from your previous posts your wife is a pretty diehard dub (I'm talking about your best mates wedding thingie). Just keep your head to the ground and watch yourself. If things do go badly, at least your best mates already been DF, so you'll both have something in common..; )
today the news reported that a grandmother gave birth to her own grandchildren!.
what else does the news show you?.
transgendered people.
Unfortunately, these things are not being observed within the confines of the Watchtower walls. Human progress is never highlighted in their publications, always the oposite - and for a reason. If the average witness bothered to pull their head out of the sand I think they'd be surprised how well the rest of us are doing - and thats without 101 different books telling us what not to do.
They have rejected the wisdom of individual conscience - in favor of the rule of a cold-hearted gerontocracy
Agreed. Also times are different now, and the kind of tactics the WTS have used up untill now, are not going to hold water for very long. I look forward to the day the skin splits...I just hope I'm around to see it
This year belongs to Arsenal...Come on you gunners!!!!!!!
I have no idea. Someone sent it to me along with hundreds of other "funny" pictures. I thought this particular one would be apprciated on this forum.
i no longer consider myself a christian.. i feel that there may be a god, but if there is, he's not the god christians worship, for such a god makes no sense.. if as the bible says we need to have faith in jesus to get everlasting life,,, why would this god make it so misleading and leave so much room for ligitmate doubt,,, by having this information passed on to us by men and organizations that have not been totally honest????.
why would he use the bible to relate this information, when the bible is so full of errors????
the evidence is very clear that the bible has been tampered with over the centuries, so that a reasonable person can have legitimate doubts about the bible's origins.. also, why would god use men who are so prone to dishonesty, to convey this lifesaving information?.
Funny how with a little bit of logical reasoning, the whole Christian thing just falls apart. I made the "leap from faith" a few months ago, and once you take a step back from the beliefs of christianity, you can really see how silly the whole thing is. I'll send you a PM later.
