Why Are People Anti-Semitic?

i seriously don't get it.. some people truly hate`jews.. and it's not just jews.... gays, christians, blacks, mexicans, etc.

are on the list.. intolerance is a terrible thing..

Anti-Semitism is a Fascinating & Tragic topic..

Some might think, that people hate Jews for one reason Or another, now a days the most popular excused are 1.Jews killed Jesus. 2. Jews own everything and are greedy. These 2 reasons fundamentally have nothing to do with the real,reason.

Jews have been hated, persecuted, purged, tortured, and Annihilated for 2,000 years.

The Real Reason that People as a whole hate Jews, is Jealousy. The one true God, made himself known to the Jewish People, and chose them to be his people. Christians and Muslims would not have a Religion, if they had not piggie backed on Judaism. They will never Be able to get out of the Shadow of Judaism. Judaism is the One True Religion, and there will never be another faith that originates directly from God.

Plain & Simple the Reason for Anti-Semetism is Jealousy.

Surreal experience last night.

recently a jw friend that my wife & i knew 3 years ago added me on facebook, after i accepted the request she invited me to a dinner that her and her husband are holding next month.. i imagined that she was unaware of our apostasy, so i declined the invitation on the basis of not wanting to ruin her dinner after the rest of her guests fled at our presence.. i'm never sure how old friends will react when i tell them that i'm no longer a jw.. usually their response is "..... permanent-silence......".

her response went something like this, " we are all out!

everyone that is coming is out we all look forward to seeing you guys so much" it turns out that there will be 6 people at the dinner all friends of ours from a congregation that we attended a few years back.. they have all left the organization recently.. pretty crazy experience..

Wow.. This is Now a much better experience for me, seeing how much Joy it has brought to all of you.. Thank you everyone for your Emotional responses, it's really touching for me.

Here are a few additional interesting details :

- The congregation that we came from was a Foreign Language Congregation, with approximately 80 Publishers... 6 Gone equates to 13% of the Entire congregation!

- You might think that these 6 decided to Make their Exit together, however that is not the case.. They have each left over the past 2 years at different times.

- One of the Ex-JW Brothers that will be at the Dinner is Married to a Still-In Pioneer Sister. His wife and my wife were Very Close Friends while we were in the Congregation. After the Brother hangs out with my Wife & I he will naturally relate the Experience to his wife. Her and my wife Pioneered together, and they are both Strong Christians.. My wife attended Pioneer School full of Zeal and 2 Months Later became an Apostate.. This will definetely make his wife contemplate things.

- When we left that congregation, the Congregation threw us a very nice going away party, and a lot of people Begged us to Stay. This congregation is an EXTREMELY tight knit congregation and we were a Part of the Family, and people really liked us & respected our spirituality. (Not To Brag, just to paint a picture.)

- This Congregation also LOVES to Gossip.. So naturally the Entire Congregation will hear about the Dinner, and hear that we are still striving to be Good People, and striving to Serve God to the best of our Ability... Who knows maybe next year the count will be 12 at dinner. (Matthew 5:16)

Thank You Again everyone, I'm so glad that this brought Joy to You all.

Data-Dog - I believe that the Word "Church" generally refers to the Body of Christ, which is comprised of Righteous individuals all over the World. I believe that the Body members are integrated in varying Sects and Religions. I also beleieve gang God has designed it this way, so that the Members of the True Church can let their Lights shine, and hopefully bring others to Salvation.

The parable of the Wheat and The a Weeds reinforces my view points on this topic, seeing that the wheat and the weeds all Grow Together until the time if the Harvest.. This does not mean they are all growing in ONE organization such as the JW religion, rather they are in many Religions throughout the Earth.

Leaving-quietly - " Notice the order... get out, separate yourselves, quit touching the unclean thing... and I will take you in. I'm not saying the order is ultra crucial, but it's noteworthy, nonetheless, and I would say that if we know a religion/church to be false, this admonition has to count for something. Plus, we have the benefit of the visions of Revelation, including the angel declaring (speaking of Babylon the Great), "Get out of her, my people!". That must be taken into consideration."

- I go back and forward on this, but currently I of not feel that JWs are Babylon the Great.. I would say that Polytheistic religions would definetely constitute Babylon the Great, and Possibly Catholic type Religions may also be considered Bablylon the great, based on their Lax Stance On Imorallity, and Sin.

My wife and I Have left the Organization and completely Seperated Ourselves, but were left completely Isolated and Lacking the Oppurtunity to share the Good News with anyone.. it is tough to find a compromise for sure...

here is my current viewpoint..

I have attended Jewish Synagogues, Independent Unitarian Fellowships,Messianic Fellowships. I have researched many more Religions.. My conclusion, is that there are untruths mixed in with Truth Everywhere.. When I researched the Old Testament, and the Torah I realized that there truly is nothing new under the Sun.. Men love to control one another, and they all teach False Doctrine.

Some scriptures that I believe are important :

Hebrews 10:25 " not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." ESV

Hebrews 3:13 " But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."

Hebrews 10:24 " And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,"

Proverbs 18:1 " Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment."

SO It is in our best interest to associate with Fellow God Fearing Individuals with Good Morals, BUT if EVERYONE teaches false Doctrine, how can we rectify this? We have to choose someone to fellowship don't we?

It's my opinion that the Apostles continued to Attend the Jewish Synagogue after Jesus ascension,and because they were all "cast out" John 16:2 , because of their adherence to Christ as the Messiah they were forced to start Home Congregations, eventually becoming Christianity.

Perhaps his Is the Path? Stay in the JW org, until one is cast out, and then start a Home / Small fellowship.

1 john 5:1 says everyone (not just special people) but everyone who believes that jesus is the son of god is born of god.

born of god is the same thing as born again.

the jw theology is so easy to refute i dont see how anyone can read the whole nt and still be one..

yogosans14 - Take a look at the Wording in Revelation 7 9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

Notice that the "Great Crowd" is also standing Before The Throne, and they have already Gained their Salvation.

As you know.. the WT teaches that the Great Crowd does not Gain Salvation until the 1,000 Year Reign Ends.
