@ Listener: I think not so. All JW could order there printed Yearbook this summer. Why this "order-process" - if they don't print the book.
Maybe they are late - because of printing the revised NWT.
usually i recieve an advanced yb but have not this year.
i also notice they have not posted it yet on jw.org.. i wonder if this is due to problems at the printery at wallkill or they decided to produce the yb later from now on?.
or perhaps they decided not to publish it any more.. anyone have any info on this?.

todays' wt had this sentence in one of the paragraphs....we know this because each of their individual names are indelibly written upon the 12 foundation stones of the heavenly new jerusalem.rev.
21:14.. the cross reference lists judas iscariot as one of the twelve.
so with one breath they have said judas was cursed as jesus betrayer, and yet in their rnwt they still cross reference him in the list of the twelve named foundation stones of nj.
@ Bobcat
Thanks a lot for the links. This point is now even mory clearly.

Luke wrote, that Judas Iskariot left AFTER the meal (Luke 22:19-21) . For JW-thinking this could not be. So Luke must be wrong.
Look at insight-book "Judas":
"Immediately Judas left the group. A comparison of Matthew 26:20-29 with John 13:21-30 indicates that he departed before Jesus instituted the celebration of the Lord’s Evening Meal. Luke’s presentation of this incident evidently is not in strict chronological order, for Judas had definitely left by the time Christ commended the group for having stuck with him; that would not fit Judas, nor would he have been taken into the “covenant . . . for a kingdom.”—Lu 22:19-30."
This was some month ago an eye opener for me. GB tells us, Luke is not in strict chronological order.
Luke 1:3:
" I resolved also, because I have traced all things from the start with accuracy, to write them to you in logical order, most excellent The·oph′i·lus..."
(there is a nice thread here on jw-net about this point - I just can not find. )
i conducted the wt study tonight on higher education.
i wondered what the reaction of the bros and sis would be.
there was no deviation from the idea that a university education is not a good idea.
Result of the "highest education in the universe" - example of a young brother in bethel:
JW:
- reads a WT article first time - when the wt comes online (or on his table in the room)
- reads (second time) AND study the same article - preparing for the monday "watch" in bethel
- reads the wt third time together with all the brother & sisters in monday's bethel "watch"
- reads the wt 4th time together with all the brother & sisters in his congregation on saturday or sunday
Result: Can not remember the answer without looking on his colored WT
wondering if anyone has found the six places the name jehovah is added in new bible?.
... blondie was faster then me ...
But have a look here on my posting on page 10:
In Blondie's link are IMHO mistakes:
1 Samuel 6:23 does not exist. Must be 1 Samuel 6:3.
1 Samuel 2:25 has Jehovah also in the "old" NWT.
If I am wrong - please correct me.
i have heard that line of rubbish more times from the platform, especially around this time of year.
yet, given the number of children with few or no toys, about 90% of the time, they get little or nothing year round.
sometimes it is because of poverty, often induced because the parents are supposed to cut back on their work and pious-sneer or donate excessive amounts to the worldwide pedophile defense fund (or both).
Realy? As a born in (since around 60 years) I can only say: BIGGEST lie of all.
well let's just say i never had any luck with women in the jws.
i only met one super hot girl with a great body.
and sexy voice.
... being friends with girls ... |
IMHO impossible in JW-Land for men
@ Band on the Run
Have a close look to lesson 3 next week in the TMS in your Kingdom Hall
since i have my own software to track pdf publication uploads and changes on jw.org and simplify publication downloads, i looked behind the reasons why certain publications had been updated this last month (first the know the truth tract in hungarian which i knew of it didn't have any recent textual revisions, and then bible teach book, which had suffered a further update the picture on page 3 was replaced).
i noticed one little procedural change, which 99 percent of the witnesses won't even notice, but the publications printed since the start of this service year no longer have "all rights reserved" on the publishers' page.
first i thought it was a mistake, but it's for real.
@ Caminante:
About the changes in the bible-teach book have a look here:
The org is inserting an ISBN number into there printings - so the "all rights reserved" is no longer needed - just my thinkings
ok so rutherford came up with the idea to change the name of the true religion of god to jehovah's witnesses based in isaiah 43. and of course ever since the rank and file witnesses have lovingly thought of themselves as gods chosen people.
well some one frogot to mention that in chapter 62 of isaiah gods says his true followers will be called by a new name.
yes newer then the old name almost 20 chapters ago.
Some days ago Blondie gave me a hint on how Rutherford came up with "this idea":
"Brother Rutherford told me himself that he woke up one night when he was preparing for that convention and he said, `What in the world did I suggest an international convention for when I have no special speech or message for them? Why bring them all here? And then he began to think about it, and Isaiah 43 came to his mind. He got up at two oclock in the morning and wrote in short-hand, at his own desk, an outline of the discourse he was going to give about the Kingdom, the hope of the world, and about the new name. And all that was uttered by him at that time was prepared that night, or that morning at two oclock. And [there is] no doubt in my mind - not then nor now - that the Lord guided him in that, and that is the name Jehovah wants us to bear and were very happy and very glad to have it. "
( 1975 Yearbook of Jehovah's Witnesses , quoting A.H. Macmillan on the invention of the name Jehovah's witnesses, p. 151)
