Since January 2014 the german branch is still renamed. It's no longer the german branch - now named central europe branch.
its a "business" not an evangelical centre!.http://www.essexchronicle.co.uk/council-lleader-urges-sceptics-welcome-jehovah-s/story-20528438-detail/story.html.nevada

what is the best way to make freinds while fading.. i have no friends outside jws.
and if i tell a friendly jw how i feel, it would not be confidential.
i am thinking of joining a day time group, but what!
I found a lot of very good friends over my hobby. I love to drive muscle cars and there are a lot of people (some in clubs) doing the same. So we meet regularly - talking about cars, eating together, driving around a little together. Also some of us working in our free time on the cars together (rebuilding, repairing).
Maybe this works also for you.
has this been covered yet?.
i was looking to download the new nwt from jw.org and stumbled across an awake on creation - march 2014 edition.
and it always interests me to see the latest spins they'll try to make creation sound plausible.. seems now they are implying the sun, moon, and stars were created when god said "let there be light".
Quote:
"The Bible frequently uses the term “day” to designate various periods of time.
In some cases these periods are of an unspecified length.
The account of creation found in the Bible book of Genesis is one example of this .
So this is a very clear statement, that also the 7th day (quiet period) is a period of "unspecified length".
No longer: "6000 years of human history have been completed"
a recent article in the watchtower, february 15, 2014 addresses the centenary of the photo-drama of creation.
then comment it on this 'remarkable work', but it will never be displayed by the watchtower again .... _______________________________.
the 1890s introduced silent motion pictures to the public.
@ Weana
thanks for your explanation. Are you shure?
That means, that Russel hast to rent a cinema for 4 days - would be more expensive then to show all parts on one day. Just my 2 cents.
Your wrote: " Who could sit 4partsx2hours=8 hours a day in theatre or cinema?"
I answer: every JW on every convention

20 copies - containing 4 parts. 4 x 20 = 80 parts
So it was possible, to show in 4 different towns each 1 part of 1 set.
For example: town 1 starts with part 1 at 8:00. Then this part comes by car to town 2 and this part starts at 11:00 (one hour driving between the towns).
Town 1: 08:00 part 1, 10:00 part 2, 12:00 part 3, 14:00 part 4
Town 2: 11:00 part 1, 13:00 part 2, 15:00 part 3, 17:00 part 4
So it was explained to me.

i havent been to a meeting in four years.
during that time i completed a successful fade from the organization after almost 40 years being baptized.
it seems nothing anymore will surprise or shock me with these latest bunch of brooklyn leaders.

In our cong the elders have to deal with the problem, that a lot of JWs (mostly older ones) have NO internet at home. But they want to buy a tablet.
To buy a (cheap) tablet is no problem for them - but how to load all the theocratic stuff. The costs for internet in 1 year at home is in our country more then the coast of a cheap tablet. Some don't have the money for internet at home.
So the help of experienced ones is needed. The easiest way is WiFi at the hall. In our hall we have WiFi, but only for the CO appartment. So only the CO and 2 or 3 other elders know the password. I think, in future they will open it also for all JWs in the hall.
