So apparantley according to this, CT Russell told Rutherford, from heaven of course, to get all the men to shave their beards, off. Then in 1931 Rutherford was told to change the name from Bible Students to Jehovah's Witnesses.

Now Knorr, Franz, Rutherford, and Russell are helping to direct things from heaven and telling the new GB they are doing well feeding the domestics and will be appointed over the belongings when Jesus returns, oh yeah for the third comming.

My friends visitation is tonight all of her JW family will be there

today i need some encouraging support ..i will be attending my friends funeral visitation tonight .. we had been jws together since childhood ,and then three yrs ago she was dfd .

we have supported each other these past few yrs with encouragement .she comes from a huge jw family, and they all plan on attending tonight.

i have known them all my life ,and they hate me for leaving the cult.

Emeth, I believe what you say is a fallacy, you do not. The GB do not work long hours and neither do their suck up co-horts, IMO, its a hierachy scam and only the liars get a good deal. You have your view and you are welcome to it, I am afraid nothing you have said, coupled with my experience in this cult leads me to believe what you say is the truth behind the new witnessing mobile carts.

They are designed to rake in the money. Use unsuspecting JWs to market their product for free, and then live a luxury lifestyle. But thats my opinion thank you for giving me yours

emeth, I am totally missing your point. I said its all about the money, and you disagree. I don't live in a mobile cart, the Mexican JWs are preaching in one to advertise the publishing company and bring in more donations so the GB can live in luxury.

If you don't think its luxurious, then you have done well for yourself. But I do. I wish they would house me there, or pay my mortgage off so I dont end up homeless from a bad unscriptural divorce from a childbeating JW brother.

the jws stopped by my house a couple weeks ago on a saturday morning.

i knew that with others most likely waiting for them out in the car they probably did not then have much time to engage in any serious conversation.

so i let them talk while i feigned interest in what they had to say.

CG, thanks for your conclusions. I don't believe what you do atm. But I will read the whole of chapter 14 again and give you my thought as to whether or not this was clearly a rebuke not to treat women as second class, and not a guide to a practice of treating women in an appauling manner.

Check out the 13min video at 6.24mins pure luxury compared to being on the mobile in the scorching heat or blistering cold. I am jealous, mindnumbed even if you are not. My divorce is costing me my home. Which was mine and not as good, but now even I wont have that, and the GB have it all.
