I am afraid I disagree. A lot of harm has been done at the hands of WT, and JWs need a safe place to go to discuss policies, procedures and escaping a cult. Your topic is more of a Satirical joke that we can let off steam and laugh at whilst dealing with more important issues in our lives.
WMF, I agree, but I am just trying to help him wake up from his delusion.

JW believe God exist- Ish
This comment is very telling. It is more accurate to say that WT teaches that Jehovah exists. JWs and former JWs believe all sorts of different things as far as the existance of God is concerned. WT is a dangerous cult, many who post here have woken up to the dangers and some have left, others are planning an exit, and still others are trapped in a religion they don't believe in because it's a cult and they can't leave.
Your posts don't really show you are aware that WT is controlling JWs and hurting them. There are a lot of vulnerable people on this site who have come here for support in their time of need, and your posts don't seem to show that understanding.
Your posts seem to show you are from a non-English speaking country...............Where are you from?

They can't be that deluded as to believe everything is guided by holy spirit. They are clever men to be able to indoctrinate millions of JWs, I don't thing they believe in holy spirit. They make decisions by voting and what's in their best interests. They are in a money making business and they know it. I don't think they actually believe in the panda petting paradise or Armageddon. They simply can't do.

Tell us about how you found yourself here on this site? Tell us what caused you to get baptised as a JW and then want to leave if this is the case. Has anyone else heard this about the GB??
by FeelingFree inok so me and my husband were talking to his mum again about why we are no longer going to meetings and got into another pointless discussion where she feels he needs to talk to an elder about his issue's blah, blah, blah... round and round it went...... the thing i wanted to ask was if anybody had heard that there wont be any gb after these one's die??
this is something she mentioned today and we have never heard of this ever.
so it means no more will be appointed and they will just die off!

I think she is talking nonsense, like punky said there will always be someone to take charge, WT is full of pompass ladder climbers who have probably thought up lots of new doctrines to fit in with their own leadership.

Such a sad story. It's a shame that a 19 yr old can be so scared and mixed up during pregnancy that at the time of the birth all she can think to do is murder the infant. The fact that she felt she had no one to turn to and was so isolated is incredibly sad, so very sad.
I understand where Apogs is comming from, but isloation caused most of the problems IMO, there were no reports of her being diagnosed with depression or any other mental health problem.
She felt alone and killed her baby, terrible.

Great thread OUTLAW. WT really are thriving since the rebranding, good point. Many current JWs have got motivated to do more and are more zealous than ever. This strategy has really worked well in WT's favour. I couldn't see it before.
But we mustn't forget that also due to really stupid doctrines, new thoughts, shunning and lack of love JWs are leaving. We need to be aware of jw.org success but also balance it with the fact that many are still waking up and leaving.

So I'm going through a really difficult time right now.
by scaredtospeak ini was publicly reproved last year and the elders have taken their sweet time in reinstating my "privileges".
it's been six months and i can't answer at the meetings or participate in the theocratic ministry school.
in all honesty- i don't care about the privileges.

You say you don't want to be a JW anymore. That's a start, JWs leave for all sorts of reasons but leaving mentally and physically is not as easy as it seems. WT is a cult and the things you have been taught about Jehovah, Jesus, Armageddon and many more can stick with you your whole life. If you really want to leave the best things you can do are research from jwfacts.com and formulate your exit plan. Then once you leave you will be gone for good.
I am sorry the elders are treating you like dirt, I have been there, they don't listen to a word you say and just nit pick, how can they really be guided by holy spirit?
