  in this ground-breaking bumper show, we interview irwin zalkin, the lawyer who filed and won this new child abuse case against the watchtower organisation, which saw the victim, jose lopez awarded $13.5 million.. i think you'll agree with me (after listening to the interview) that irwin really knows his 'watchtower' stuff!.

  Intersesting Halloween for the GTTM family

  well as i have stated before, both our boys do mma fighting and training as do i. this past weekend we had a good practice.

  went to get a bite to eat and our way home our younger son said...hey, lets go look at the trick or treaters.

  both me and my wife said ok. .

  Hypocritical video on jw.org "what's a real friend."

  have you watched the 4 min animated white board drawing video on jw.org called "what's a real friend?".

  it is one of the most hypocritical pieces they have produced!.

  it goes into detail explaining that real friends "don't judge you, dont talk about you behind your back, don't hold grudges, don't expect you to conform, and encourage individuality!".

  I am noticing a pattern in the threads you start. Double standards and hypocrisy. Once you see it you are awake to it everywhere. Can you really keep on doing this? Have you got the strength?

  Need some input: Wife refuses to respect what I believe

  i had a rough time with my wife last week.

  i guess i started the fight by telling her that her love is conditional.

  ( and the fight started).

  You have made a move and told her what you believe, now the hurdle is that she thinks you should both believe the same. Once she reads CoC she will believe the same as you. It really is the book that wakes most people up properly.

  There are lots of different ways you can get her to read it. You can take all the kids somewhere for the weekend and leave her in peace to read it. A poster on here took his kids to the assembly and his wife read the whole book and woke up to TTATT.

  Show her why you believe as you do now, I think you are very close to waking her up especially if she is using bad language.

  im so frustrated i could kill myself right now!!

  im 15 and a couple weeks ago i confessed to my parents that i didn't want to be a jehovahs witness anymore and also that i was bisexual.

  i had just gotten back from an eating disorder clinic and my parents decided to put me back in school (i was homeschooling before).

  Horseygirl,

  You have a lot of issues here and this board is probably not the best place for you right now. Being a JW and being home schooled is not ideal, but you do have to live by your parents rules for now. The cutting is a sign of bigger mental issues, you need to talk to your doctor about the cutiing and not wanting to be a JW. Say you feel isolated being home schooled.

  Being gay is fine, your parents need to accept this, if they don't you can tell your doctor.

  Go to the doctor by yourself and explain all of this to them.

  Please stop cutting yourself and don't do anything silly. You have made the first move by comming here, now go to the doctor.

  Just talked to Witnesses at my door for Hour about Watchtower Child Abuse

  it happened again like in july when i talked to an elder and his wife about child abuse, but this time i got a hold of rank and file members who fortunately i was able to play like a fiddle as they had no idea what they were up against here.

  so brother middle age ex-hippie convert ( as he told me later ) and sister middle age hair in a bun offered me the awake on death or our view of death.

  i graciously accepted gaining their trust saying yes, i had close loved ones who had died over the years but didn't know if i believed in a resurrection or hereafter.

  Human kindness

  i hold kindness in high regard; it separates us from the drudgery of life and elevates those who practice it as well as those who receive it.

  my family has been going through a big crisis for several weeks now and i've noticed a few things.

  several of the elders have expressed their concern for us, shared a scripture and then back out to field service or whatever.

  the sexual abuse coverups are now getting traction.

  i can leave now without retribution from friends and family.

  i can simply say i will no longer represent an organization that protects pedaphiles as rampant as the catholic church!

  Meeting for not paying assembly fees???!!!!

  hey folks......has anyone else heard of, or experienced this before?.

  i visited by parents over the weekend and accompanied them to their assembly....same rubbish spoken about since ive been born....obey the gb, donate your last penny, no education and be a pushover.. anyways, our assembly hall has lush vegetation and scenery, so i was more focused on that....i started dozing off after lunch, so got up and went walking, saw some older folks from the congregation i grew up with.. upon the conclusion of the assembly, wed normally leave out right after the prayer ends so as to avoid the traffic.

  however, for this assembly he told me that hes gonna be a few minutes with the elders and branch representatives...so a few minutes turned into an hour..

  It's good news that your dad got called into this meeting. He clearly knows that things aren't right. Hopefully both your mum and dad will wake up soon, it looks hopeful, keep us updated. Kate xx
