i'm looking for a way to disassociate myself, now i'm thinking to make a "public declaration" before a civil law notary (i'm in chile), but i need some ideas about what to put in that declaration, i would like to look the "ks" book to cover all possible sides and make a solid declaration... any experiences?
my plan is to make that legal declaration that would say "i'm no longer consider myself a jehovah's witness nor want to be linked to any of the wt organizations or legal entities, and want all my personal records to be erased"... any orientation will be helpful :).

It really depends on your circumstances. I went out with a bang and recorded my JC, but it was my circumstances that steered me into that direction. If you want to get in there first because you're fed up of hiding your life style and you want to be free from pestering elders then go for it.
You need to do what's best for you.
If I would have learned TTATT before I got DF'd I may have chosen a different way to exit.

for many years gangs of asian men engaged in rape and torture of young girls who were in the "so-called" care system.
it is believed there were around 1,400 victims in north west england, focussed on the town of rotherham.. if reports are to be believed, social workers, police and the cpc knew it was happening and everybody failed to act for one simple reason.
Pat Condell is just another extremeist athiest fundamentalist, in this video he is making absurd claims about what you will get arrested for here in the uk, but he is not actually adressing the issues of social workers and the flaws in the whole sytem.
There is a real problem and Pat Condell is clouding the real issues with his fundamentalist clap trap.

It's my experience social workers don't stand up for anyone. My ex is a white British male and beats my son. Social workers and courts have failed to act. This has nothing to do with being scared to report Muslims. The care system failed baby P too.
A reugulatory body needs to be appointed that has the power to sack social workers for ignoring crimes, and holding individuals responsible.

one of the most used verses amongst jws is matthew 24:14 .no other denomination has preached the good news of the kingdom with the intensity that witnesses have around the globe.surely this must be the actual fulfillment of matthew 24:14 ,or is it ?
this posts considers the reason why the preaching of the news performed by jehovah's witnesses today is a false sign .let me know what you think.
after a thorough investigation and weighing of the evidence the grand jury has decided not to indict the officer.. the reaction so far seems as predicted - people refuse to accept that the result represents justice despite claims that is what they wanted.. there is now violence and vandalism, including gunshots.
let's hope the police contain the troublemakers.. .
i work for a mental health unit with 2 police officers we deal with people who have drug and mental health issues.
at times over the last 10 years we have "taken down" some large drug affected men, mainly "ice" these days which is epidemic here, and let me tell you even with three of us it is a huge struggle.
sometimes back up is needed or mace spray which is aweful stuff!

I went to my last JC and recorded it. It was cathartice to me and many have listened to the youtube and given support and recieved some guidance from it. I am glad I went and recorded it. But now I would not go again for any reason or talk with elders that don't care about me.
I have left for good now and all dealings with JC are behind me.
I will talk to JWs elders or not when I meet them and be polite. I am against shunning, I will not shun them or allow them to shun me.

long story short i was raised in this cult (but was never baptized) my mother is die hard jdub, i didnt take this "faith" seriously until i was 26, but i had always gone to meeting, was enrolled in the theocratic school and was mediocre in service.
at 26 i made the conscious decision to make this religion my own.
i red the bible cover to cover and used cross reference from the watchtower and other religious sites,with the end goal to get baptized.

i've been on this site for a couple of weeks now posting here and there but have not had the opportunity to read about many of the regular members and what led up to their leaving the wt.. i understand that some of you (i'm part of this club) may not be able to disclose many details and i can appreciate that.. i'd love to hear what was it that finally made you renounce what is and hopefully soon to be "was" the wt.. i truly look forward to having good discussions.. thank you to all for your kind participation.. .
I finally left because I was df'd unjustly for exposing domestic violence. I was told it was reviling. I applied to get RI'd % times and then the penny finally droped. There was no holy spirit guiding the elders. I did loads of research on jwsurvey.org and jwfacts.com and then stopped going.
