those who know the truth but stay in anyways are complicit in actions of the jehovah witness organization.
while i am sympathetic to the very difficult choices that they have to make, their unwillingness to confront the jw enables the organization.. some of you may remember my story.

I think this is a bit of a simplistic view, Giordano has basically shown that no matter how many make a stand and leave the cult will grow. It's a machine an no one can control it.
I left when I learned TTATT and so did my daughter, but we can't stop WT. Your wife would be suffering no matter what, there are always going to be people who will be recruited into the cult and stuck in the cult due to family reasons.
There are many with the same view as you, but leaving a cult and deprogramming from a cult is not as easy as it may seem. I left and am very isolated and finding it hard to rebuild my life, my ex is making it hard and not letting my son have contact with me, and finding a job in my profession has been a challenge. Other JWs that were in my situation would just shut up and put up with it and avoid all the challenges I have had to face. I can understand why they would. Much of the time my close JW loved ones would try and hush me up, they could forsee the outcome, they wanted to keep our family together and keep us all loyal JWs, but I knew my ex was a liar and a fake and I would just not shut up. But that's me, I totally get why others would not do what I did.

Of course it's illegal, but he listed himself as a company in the official records, anyone investigating this fraud will see the papertrail as easily as Mike and Kim did. The problem is professionals sometimes see this as a victimless crime, because the charity WT were scammed, not really the cong members. In reality though this cong is probably still making repayment to WT for the $265,000. They have employed the new everlasting loan system, so they will never repay back the loan to WT.
This was a total unethical and illegal scam. It thought that corruption existed amongst BOEs, and it couldn't be just the GB. It's nice to see them exposed, but JWs are being taken advantage of all over the world and it pains me to see this happening to my loved ones.

Thanks for telling us what the CO said. My son is listening to this nonsense. Rebeling against his representatives. What the heck? That means no one can have an opinion for fear of being labeled as rebelious. It's like the elders can do no wrong. Such a sick cult. More JWs are going to feel oppressed and isolated.

so my wife goes to a high school graduation for a congregation member.
she spends hours at the party, she has cake, she gives a very decent gift.
she brings home leftovers from the party for me and her.
I've seen many a JW brag that their daughter is dating a brother who was smart enough to earn his college degree. Hypocrisy at its best. - RO
hahaha! This is so funny, I have never seen this in my area. They all wanted pioneer / elders for their daughters. But I am not surprised that in area's where the cost of living requires a degree and stable job with reasonable income, that families don't want their kids to struglle finding housing and paying bills.
